In this video the STUDY of Raag YAMAN as Stylized in a Brief Presentation of Hindustani Music is demonstrated and includes the following information:
(1) Aalap (00:25)
(2) An brief JOD (07:09)
The main purpose of this channel is to create and spread awareness about the subject of MUSIC and deal with a section or group of people who might have, in general, heard MUSIC on a routine basis but would have never got a chance to go a little deeper analyzing the Sound of Music to DISCOVER and EXPERIENCE the inner depths involved.
Many of the ideas are put across musically with an intent to educate the students and listeners in a simple and effective way, which may boost the confidence of the common man to even get into a learning program of his or her own choice in the near future after having got motivated by listening to some good quality music.
Music is a Universal language and has a Global Image of its own. It's probably the most powerful Art form which has a spiritual content hidden within every melodic frequency and is the best medium to express oneself even as a part of Worship.

Mesmerizing Alaap Rajeshji and also a fresh new look at Yaman. Brought back memories from the early 90s when you used to come to Pundalik Shenoy ji’s place for lessons in Nagashettihalli.

Well played 🙏. Though I don't feel Yaman to be a raga that suits Jod. Somehow the inherent romantic mood goes away somewhat. It's just my personal feeling.
