@@IsraelHockey oh I bet it can't be easy, especially with everything that's going on there. You're doing great, and I hope people thank you often! Thank you for keeping Israeli hockey available to watch!
Title says Division 1. how is the Israeli hockey structured now? after I left Israel I feel like the structure changed a lot... could you explain it? Divisions and their names? (Used to be "Al", "Leumit") how many team in each division?( Al used to have about 10 teams, Leumit had around 10 as well) Any Relegations or Promotions? (Champion of Leumit used to promote to Al, and loser of Al used to relegate to Leumit)
Take everything i say with a grain of salt. The new system, the one ice league and the national league joined into one. the ligat ha-al changed into D1. this season there are 6 teams. I'm not sure how the play offs will work this year. leumit changed into D2. there are about 8 - 10 teams in this division. its working as a round robin then the division will split into 2 sub divisions and continue from there. there is a third league called the masters. its where all the older players go. in regards to the younger leagues I'm not sure how many teams or how it works, but there are leagues for u9 until u18. maybe even u20.
