This song is a work of art which true musicians and music listeners would appreciate!!! The song is extremely difficult to sing, there are so many “harkats” and “murkis”, Shreya ji and Anwesha did so amazing as always to ARR’s masterpiece! The dholak, sarangi, flute, tabla, sitar - all of these are outstandingly improvised in perfect harmony. Overall a very complex composition rendered so easily by india’s best singer and composer. I can write pages for intricacies of this seemingly simple song, but some other day.

Avicii was different from other producers as he didn’t make music, he used to feel it from his heart. He was influenced by Indian music and put little bit of his style in it to make it hear the world this beautiful song. people say Raanjhana isn’t best movie but it’s music is way better than any songs these days.

This movie....❤️ There is something in this movie, I can't explain what, it just relieves my mood. Although, one can wonder, what Zoya did to kundan, he did the same to bindiya. Here kundan is the hero, yet nobody talks about bindiya, which is kind of sad. She selflessly loved kundan till his death, and got nothing in return. 😭

Could be but if you watch the behind the scenes video of tough love the guys insist Avicii came up with this so either Avicii himself scrapped the original, or he didn't finnish it and they then went on to scrap it or we agree that the base melody is basically scrapped but the implementation of it is quite a new sound. Anyways it's sadly not a original Avicii song

i went to banaras when i was 14. me and my family stayed at this hotel where this boy used to work, he was 16. i fell for him the moment i saw him. i used to see him few times in a day. i never had the courage to talk to him as i was extremely young. I didn’t even ask for his number because i knew it would never work out as we lived far away. i used to get happy just by looking at him. this is the song that used to play in the car while i was in banaras. every time i hear this song i get reminded of him. i will never see him again but it’s nice to think about him :)
