Rab Muon hiking packs 

This has the potential to be a really great pack. If the side pockets were deep enough and tighter along with the compression cord underneath that can hold a roll mat. To loosen this you would have to remove everything from the side pocket this needs to be separate not a hard modification to make yourself I guess but unnecessary...... When a MK2 comes out I will trade in my osprey and get one!

How much weight can be carried with the 50 l model ? Thanks.

Only defferent is there had/ not a lid? So I can leave the lid at home to downcreace weight?

If you're going to do this right, go study the KS Ultralight Omega Pack. That's how it's done.

I love Rab gear - love to buy British and really wanted to like this but.. no way I’m trusting anything to those flappy loose side pockets and I’m not tying anything to the front, side or bottom of my pack with what looks like string. Also the lack of hip belt pockets is disappointing, I like to keep my phone there for navigating and taking pictures.

Would have been better with at least one bottle pocket on the front strap
