Thanks for your review. I completely understand they are very different jackets, but with respect to versatility, and specifically to "putting it on and leaving it on", wouldn't the Vapour Rise Summit handle that even better? The interior of the VR has the ability to wick moisture away, whether it's directly on skin or over another wicking layer. It seems the VR would allow for working even harder, to work up more of a sweat, while still keeping you drier and therefore more comfortable. Have you ever tried the VR Summit for comparison? Thank you again.
Rab did it again I think they succeeded in this jacket. I love the infinity light jacket that they made. It's perfect. How is the durability? Will it be okay to go backpacking, if the shoulder straps rub this? Also keep it lightly packed away to not damage the primaloft while in my backpack? & What base layer long sleeve would you recommend to pair with this, thank you!
It seems to be holding up pretty well. If you need super durability something like the torque jacket would be better but the xenair is surprisingly solid and rucksack rub has not been an issue. Hope this helps
It is extremely similar however the Xenair alpine light is more wind resistant, especially under the arms. If you have any other questions feel free to ask :))))
