to Sartre, the statement “hell is other people” is implicitly conditional: other people are hell for us if our relationships with them are bad. He explains further: If my relations are bad, I am situating myself in a total dependence on someone else. And then I am indeed in hell.

Which is why he frequented the brothel to keep things transactional, hung out with his poodle and played music in his spare time. There is something admirable and compassionate about the curmudgeon. Maybe it's base level Buddhist-like world view without any dogma or commandment and while antisocial he is at least in principle compassionate to those who like many encountered the slings and arrows of life in a goddess materialist void that modern man exists in.

Love. Yes. When I became Jewish I became the recipient of a kind of love I never new before. "We love you." My devotion is to the mitzvot of love. I am a Black woman said Sheba to Solomon...my grandfather had me read to him again and again this line from the Song of Solomon...He wanted me never to forget the beauty of love...and wanted nothing greater than for me to affirm that love as I have in my life...

The Manual of Discipline, one of the Dead Sea Scrolls, says that God created two great spirits, one of truth and one of perversity, the latter being the angel of darkness. 'Through the angel of darkness, however, even those who practice righteousness are liable to error. All their sin and their inequities, all their guilt and their deeds of transgression are the result of his domination; and thus, by God's inscrutable design, will continue until the time appointed by Him.' Here are seven differences between "Ruach Elohim" and "Ruach Yahweh" as they appear in the Names of God (NOG) translation of the Bible: 1. "Ruach Elohim" is first mentioned in Genesis 1:2, where it is translated as "Spirit of God." "Ruach Yahweh" is first mentioned in Judges 3:10, where it is translated as "the Spirit of the LORD". 2. "Ruach Elohim" is used throughout the Old Testament to describe the Spirit of God in general, while "Ruach Yahweh" is often used specifically in reference to the Spirit of God acting in a prophetic or empowering way, as in Judges 14:6 where Samson is "filled with the Spirit of Yahweh" to defeat a lion. 3. "Ruach Elohim" is sometimes used to describe the breath of life given to all creatures, as in Job 34:14-15 where it says that if God were to "gather back his breath [ruach]," all life would perish. "Ruach Yahweh" is not used in this sense. 4. In some passages, the two terms are used interchangeably. For example, in Isaiah 61:1, the Spirit of the Lord [Ruach Yahweh] is said to be upon the prophet, while in Ezekiel 11:5, the same phrase is translated as "the Spirit of God [Ruach Elohim] came upon me." 5. "Ruach Yahweh" is associated with the creation of humans in Genesis 2:7, where it says that Yahweh "breathed the breath [ruach] of life into [Adam's] nostrils." "Ruach Elohim" is not used in this context. 6. "Ruach Yahweh" is associated with the work of the Messiah in Isaiah 11:2, where it is said that "the Spirit of Yahweh will rest on him." "Ruach Elohim" is not used in this passage. 7. "Ruach Elohim" is used in the New Testament to refer to the Holy Spirit, as in Luke 3:22 where the Spirit descends on Jesus at his baptism "in bodily form like a dove." "Ruach Yahweh" is not used in the New Testament.
@NotNecessarily-ip4vc
@NotNecessarily-ip4vc Год назад
Here are seven more differences between "Ruach Elohim" and "Ruach Yahweh" in the Bible: 1. "Ruach Elohim" is used in Psalm 51:11 where David asks God not to take his Spirit away from him, whereas "Ruach Yahweh" is not used in this context. 2. "Ruach Yahweh" is associated with dreams and visions in Numbers 12:6, where it says that Yahweh spoke to Moses in a dream and a vision, "but not like [He spoke] to [His] servant Moses, who had a close relationship with [Yahweh]." "Ruach Elohim" is not used in this passage. 3. "Ruach Elohim" is used in 1 Samuel 10:10 where it says that the Spirit of God came upon Saul and he prophesied along with a group of prophets. "Ruach Yahweh" is not used in this context. 4. "Ruach Yahweh" is associated with judgment in Isaiah 4:4, where it says that Yahweh will "wash away the filth of Zion's people...by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of burning." "Ruach Elohim" is not used in this context. 5. "Ruach Elohim" is used in Job 33:4 where Elihu says that "the Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life." "Ruach Yahweh" is not used in this passage. 6. Ruach Yahweh" is associated with the exodus from Egypt in Isaiah 63:14, where it says that "the Spirit of Yahweh led [the Israelites] through the desert." "Ruach Elohim" is not used in this context. 7. Ruach Elohim" is used in 1 Corinthians 2:10-11 where Paul speaks of the Holy Spirit revealing God's wisdom to believers. "Ruach Yahweh" is not used in this passage.

It's not Godly to be a bigot. God created 1/10 of the human population to be LGBTQ for good reason. Everyone has their place in the world whether you are able to comprehend it or not. Pants are fairly recent in human history. Most cultures, both male and female have worn robes or similar clothing for most of human history. All males and all females have BOTH male and female hormones. And that is on a spectrum throughout humanity. Some have more hormones some less. You are not here to judge the way God created each human in how they are to love their soulmate. You are here to be the best person you can be. You will either choose to love or you will choose to hate.

As a convert, an African American convert, the day I became Jewish was the same day I became Jewish. Why Jewish? Love of God? The Torh? The People? The People. My grandmother who is from Louisiana and raised on a hog farm like Dorothy of the 'Wizard of Oz'as well as my other black relatives had a part for me with a banquet of food: hamhocks and beans, ham, greens with bacon juice, corn bread, rice...all the fixin"s. I just sat there...nothing kosher and worse, pork. I looked up at them, a silence of forboding in the breeze of the backyard... There are laws between man and God and laws between humans in Judaism. To reject my families foor offered would destroy my relationship with them and hurt my in ways I could never get over. What was I to do? I am a very close friend of the Rabbi. He has always acknowledged me as a black woman in love with Judaism and the Jewish people. Guess what his advise was. Any Jewish ritual law can be brooken to save a life. What do you think I did? I came to Judaism for me, not for a husband, not for an extra dollar or angel wings. I married a nonJew. I have a list of mitzvot that I am so proud of accomplishing as a Jewish woman in relation to a people and through those accomplishments in partnership with God.❤❤❤❤🎵🎵🐬🐬🐦🐦🐦🌺🙋👸

I can cry 😭 my eyes out that I never knew about you earlier in my life. Now I’m too old. I gave of myself 💯 always never expected anything in return but it was always a one sided relationship. For me it was a gift from Hashem. But I was never seen as a gift. I enjoyed giving in every way . I was married twice always seemed attracted to the same kind of person. I just wanted the spiritual side someone I could connect to and not be an I person. It would not have changed so I gave up and threw in the towel. I detest Selfish people. Egocentric people. I’m not perfect. But real and I tried to do it for the sake of heaven. With the amazing tools and gifts that Hashem gave me. But I felt totally empty and alone. What a waste of a life. 🤔I’m sure there are others that have in someway experienced that kind of loneliness when it’s only one sided And selfish. That was obviously my test but could not deal with it. What’s the point of being married ?

Like most theist he seems to think science which is our best method of determining reality should make exception for his religion. These theories are not written in stone. They are sometimes. Modified, or dropped completely. They are our best educated guess based on supporting evidence. And finally, while many atheist will point out the conflicting claims made by said religions. That is not of their lack of belief. I think the primary reason being logic, and the double standard in which theist must maintain to maintain belief. And like god which is only a belief should be recognized as only a belief. Something we hold for lack of knowledge.

I would like to say that after having 2 failed marriages which I believed in deeply [the 2nd even moreso than the first by a good 100 times], that I look at love and marriage completely differently now. That realization came spiritually and I cannot unknow it after it was presented to me from God. The wisdom that it brought me made me feel so completely differently about the world that I feel it could change the entire planet, universe even.... We cannot know what we dont yet know. That means to me that all the study and experience and perspective in the world can still make one person judge another incorrectly. That applies to love and marriage in very meaningful ways that I believe actually prevent man from moving toward an ultimate world peace. With my first husband, though I wasnt blissful, and actual was fairly miserable with for the first year, I settled happily into comfortability and familiarity. Those things left me enduring constant lies and terrible sexual frustration for both of us that caused constant tension and huge weight gain. He left me out of the blue after 7 years and I felt shellshocked. He said we werent happy. I told him we were happy 85% of the time and that that was worth fighting for, because ultimately we'd be stronger for it. He said that wasnt good enough, which I found laughable at the time but ultimately he was 100% correct. I clung on so tightly that I couldnt even move on for a couple of years after. Now I cant imagine how im the world I evrr felt any attraction to him. I was young and felt cool that I was going to be married before anyone else I knew, frankly. Then I met my 2nd husband, and for 13 years I bragged and knew that it had been foolish to hold on so tightly to what wasnt ever truly right from the getgo. We really did have a good time together and I loved him more than anything I'd ever loved before. I never thought I 'd want to live without him, until one day a new truth was revealed to me, and it flipped my whole world on end. I met a person and not only did we click but I felt an out of body type of experience unlike anything Ive ever experienced before or since and will never be forgotten. It was if my brain from 2023 downloaded information through space-time or something ancestral. I still cannot truly explain it. It was so strong that it made me immediately feel utterly connected to another man other than my husband. It wasnt lust, but an intense need to be close to him. The closeness I felt with my husband was gone instantly. It devastated me and I wanted nothing more than to accept and adore my life as always. That feeling has hung around for way too long of a time now, and it isnt nothing. I think its my duty to the human race to testify to the fact that a love can exist that transcends our human understanding if what love is, or even what ♡we are♡ altogether. Before this happened to me, I would have fought tooth and nail to keep my husband and defend any marriage threatened by any thing. But through this experience, Ive gained wisdom that has revealed to me the truth of my marriage, in that we were loving people who needed love more than actually soulmates. I feel constantly connected to thhe other peraon, no matter what is going on. Ive prayed and Ive cried and Ive sobbed and argued. There isnt anything that will undo it. Its not a crush or obsession, just not something we understand to accept because of what we learn from other humans. This cannot be untaught by teaching.

This video in no manner "destroys" the rational position of atheism. My position of atheism is clear, currently irrefutable, and rationally justified. I am not convinced any god to be a reality for I have never encountered any credible evidence suggesting such a reality. So, until I do encounter sufficient credible evidence that such a reality exists, I will continue to suspend any acknowledgement concerning the truth of _your_ claim that one does. THAT represents the entirety of my position of atheism.
