It doesn't matter what race you are, or what religious belief you have. It doesn't matter how old you are, how smart you think you are, how rich or poor you are...Rabbi Dr. Twerski's knowledge transcends all of that and speaks to anyone on a human level, if they are willing to listen and understand. I admire this man's intellect and genuine compassion. He drops nothing but the truth.

Anger is sin, and when you sin, you have to repent immediately, turn away from it and apologize if you hurt someone. Self control is a fruit of the Spirit of God, and if you are a child of God, you will have self control to control your emotions and reactions. Psychology goes against God, because it is man made

I would repeat it to myself every time someone did something to make me angry. It reminded me to let petty things go - nothing is worth my peace.

Thank you for your wisdom, I try to explain this to my kids. I love what you teach about how you respond to the anger you feel. Emotions are passing feelings and we need to think before we act. Keep up the videos they're wonderful!

A complex problem, yet a simple solution so well explained in less than 4 minutes. Things like this should be taught in school, college, etc. I definitely can't go back to old ways after listening to Dr. Twerski. Thanks for spreading wisdom!!!
I rather not be angry. I get all sorts of people who provoke me. I get all sorts of threats. But he’s right. How long do I hold onto my anger. I am mostly angry at dead people. That is resentment. I like how this rabbi speaks. So glad that I am here.

The anger that I have had and the acts that I have forgiven over the years, and the life struggle I have encountered have all been written in an ongoing book.
a.a is helping me to get rid of my resentments , I came a crossed with this video by coincidence I would have never thought that this old and nice guy was in the a.a therapy. I wish I could watch more of his videos, I'll do it for sure but right now its 1.30 am here in el Salvador. 😸
I've learned to channel my anger into a project or that little extra I can bring to the table when needed.i still have some anger but don't we all.i can only improve on me, that's why I'm on this channel.
I have also found the Brelsov approach brought down by Rabbi Shalom Arush - when provoked, I try to first thank Hashem for the provocation as well as the feelings I am having. To be grateful even for the negative has become a path to greater emunah and peace for me.
