Belief without evidence is hypothesis. Hypotheses can only be confirmed with evidence. The creation story in genesis is ridiculous, including the naked couple, the talking snake and the prohibited produce. God is nothing more than a metaphor for a mystery that is beyond all categories of human thought.
Although you made this comment 2 years ago, I feel saddened by your statement. It's two years later, so maybe you have learned some Torah and have gained some wisdom. I certainly hope so, since there is so much awesome Torah shuirim available.
