Love this! Am getting a rabbit from a rescue tomorrow! He is 2 years old and I can’t wait! I already have a room set up for him to free roam his little heart out! I have done research for years and I am finally ready! Love this video!✨🫶🏻💗🐰
We love when you have Cinnabun in your videos - we free roam our two buns. One I rescued from who was free roaming in a neighborhood - she’s a beautiful gray French lop, the other is a Holland lop - he’s a crazy man
Great video! I’m a faithful customer to small pet select! I love thier products for my two bunnies Midnight and Cocoa! Cinnabon is so beautiful! Her cute little white tail!!
I´m living in Europe and the understanding of a healthy Bunny diet is a little bit different here. Main focus is a leafy diet, containing a variety of salats, kale and fresh meadow herbs. Pellets are known to cause teeth problems and if it contains grains, it can cause digestive problems as well. Hay should always be accessible but not as a main component of their diet. I would love to see more and a variety of greens in Cinnabuns diet especially meadow herbs. The diet you are promoting is too dry and can cause a lot of issues, and your bunny already had some digestive problems.
Pellets (not-mostly-grain, high-quality ones) contain vital micronutrients that you many not be giving them consistently in their greens, unless you map out how much of which type you give and how often in like an excel sheet or something. That said, feeding no pellets is a healthier option than feeding rabbits low-quality pellets, or too many pellets. Hay is a major source of fiber for rabbits, which is necessary for their digestive systems to function. Unless you're, again, mapping out how much fiber is in each part of your mostly-greens diet, they need access to as much hay as they'll eat to be healthy. Not to mention the fact that hay really helps keep their teeth filed down. Greens are definitely important though, and variety (as long as you keep the staples around) is very healthy for them! Kale, however, is not a good example of this. It's not bad to feed rabbits kale occasionally, but feeding it multiple times a week can cause health problems. (Also this isn't diet-related, but considering it's pretty common in Europe to leave pet rabbits outside unsupervised, forgive me for being a little skeptical of the standard of rabbit care over there.)
You shouldn't just say 'I live in Europe and things are different here.' Europe is a MASSIVE continent. And what goes on in France isn't the same as the UK or Spain, for example. Usually it's Americans who say shit like this not people who know better. (Well Americans should know better too but let's not encourage the stupidity, yes?)
@@amandamoe8034 I gave my bunny half of the living room that has been bunny-proofed so he can explore and run around at his leisure (as well as access to the hallway so he can really get up to speed). This is a choice I made because I wanted to give him as much space as I could while keeping him safe. As long as your bunnies get enough exercise and socilization daily (and are happy), then how you arrange your home is your choice.
I love all these suggestions for my bunny 🥰 I’ve been eyeing the wonderland play table for so long and finally decided to get it and a bunch of other goodies for my bunny after watching this (your code was so helpful - thank you 🫶🏻)! Sending all my love to you and Cinnabun💜
"So you either just got a pet rabbit or you're thinking of getting a pet bunny" Jokes on you I don't want bunnies, but my friend does , so I'm helping along with the research
great video :D very good information! But...rabbits should never live alone without a rabbit friend. That's the only thing missing from this video. Always at least with two of them.
I am getting a holland lop in march and your videos are soooooooo helpful. Cinnabun is the cutest ever. I am struggling with one thing what happens when you go on plane can you please do a cinnabun plane ride video .
6:45 I'm actually a little disappointed we didn't get to watch her scarf down that entire branch XD Watching rabbits eat large greens like whole big lettuce leaves is just so entertaining for some reason
I unfortunately cannot free roam my soon to be bunnies but I do want to make sure they have enough roaming area and I do want to bring them on walks or over stuff like putting them in a bigger place so they get more exercise
great information video and the store looks awsum i would shop from it if it was a scandinavian shop. (to exp tos hip from us lol) I rally like that syringe thing havent seen it around here in sweden seems like a smart först aid to have. The furbuster is a live saving bought mine based on youre turial works so8 good am glad i manged to get one from uk amazon saved me some shipping but that comb is wort it. /stay hoppy
I really can’t free roam my rabbit but I try to have the biggest caves a can and my one rabbit gets her cage door open whenever I’m home so she can choose to run in and out but my baby bunny only goes out when I’m in the room with him right now
( please read 🙏) I am a huge fan I love all your videos and I agree with free roaming rabbits. But I have siblings with adhd and they go crazy and my house is small. I have a rabbit she has to be in a cage. We are building on so where she can have a room to herself. I try to keep her out in her play pin but she jumps out. She’s not spayed and we are going to mate her but any tips for keeping them in the pins? She poops all over everything when she jumps out. ❤❤❤ thanks for reading😊
I agree with you on the no cages. But free roaming does not work for all bunnies. I don't own my appartement and bunny proofing supplies are really hard to find where I live. I started of wanting to free roam but in this appartement it is just not an option for us. A big X-pen and a lot of time outside in a save area seems to be the best option for us. I do want a bunny room at some point . I will also get a dog in the near future, so I will move him to an area where he is safe and can rest . The dog and my bunny don't need to be friends. Having my rabbit out all evening did make our bond stronger tho. My bunny is 9 years so he mostly sleeps and eats anyway and does not need the same exercise ad a younger bunny. Thank you for making your video's and helping the bunny community. Maybe someday I will be able to fully bunny proof my house .
I have no room to put my rabbit in at night and my grandma said we cannot leave them out in the house. And my mum says she doesn’t want to pick up all the poo in the playpen at night so we have to put them in a cage ( but at least the cage is about 120 cm long.)
Careful using the pee pad, rabbits will nibble on and eat those. I use paper bags from the grocery store then a layer of ink free newspaper then my paper shreds and Tim hay. 😉
So I feed my fur baby the oxbow young rabbit pellets, but the first ingredient is Alfalfa meal, and it doesn’t say hay in the ingredients at all-, dose anyone know if that’s okay?
I’ve been free roaming for years and I love it! My buns love it too! I love seeing my buns run to the door when I get home and cuddle in bed with me at night. Plus I know they’re getting enough exercise!
Before I saw your postings I had bought many 4x2 ft cages. Soooo much wasted money! Then I progressed to x pins. I bought many small litter trays and finally settled for large 2ftx19in in litter boxes which work so well. I've spent thousands on my bunnies from spaying, neutering and vet bills for an eye infection and in the beginning nail trims. Finally, after 5 yrs I have it all down thanks to you and others who have shared. I started out caring for my daughter's pregnant rabbits and now NO more babies just beautiful healthy happy rabbits. Thank you so much for your help!!!😊
I am obsessed with watching cinnabun in the background. All the while listening to my boy doing his 4am zoomies from my room through the hallway into the lounge and back again. I discovered I'm allergic to timothy hay so I buy orchard grass from a local farmer and do it in bulk by the bale for under $10. I then split the bale with my bestie for her bun as well. But you reminded me I will need to order some more this week. I love these videos you do, helping newbies out, I tend to go local because things like international shipping to the southern hemisphere is not cheap. But one day if I make some extra cash I wanna order a couple of things from small pet select, if the shipping doesn't kill me.
Hello! I’m planning on getting bunny’s and have a question Can even 3-6 month old rabbits get Gi stasis(plan to get two 4 month olds) I wanna know if I’ll need critical care straight away or if it can wait till there older Could you make more videos about young rabbits I wanna know all I can about them before I get two 4 month olds
anyone have any tips on getting rid of fleas? I am trying to get a bunny, but I have fleas in my house. I have been vacuuming every day and I'm still not seeing a difference. I would love some tips so I can get my bunny soon.
More videos of baby Cinnabun!!! ❤ But oh, you may have forgotten about nail clippers! It’s such a scary thing to have to do but it’s so incredibly necessary. Otherwise they grow crooked. 😢 Ps thank you for the store recommendation. It is so ridiculously difficult finding appropriate food & toys for bun buns. I am LOVING that natural wooden table though! That is so perfect!
I absolutely love you gals! 🩷🐰 your channel is my guilty pleasure 🤭🥰 lol I also have a Lop that’s looks like Cinabun & I was so excited when I found a cabbage set just like hers the other day! 🥬 We’re twinning!! 💃🏽💪🏽 lol
Hello again from Canada!. Hope you had a great trip to the Mountains! I always look forward to seeing your smiling face and of course Cinnabun!!! I had a Netherlands Dwarf bunny named Daisy. We had to put her down in January, so sad. She had teeth issues but she was 9 and half. Looking forward to seeing tour next video.❤😊🐇🐰
This is a great videos i love your channel and i have 3 Holland Lop bunnies and one is similar in color to Cinnabun she's just a Darker Black tort color and i believe Cinabun is a regular Tort colored bunny she's so cute ironically my one bun who looks similar to Cinabun also is a bit more sensitive to foods i switched them from The food the breeder i got them from to Oxbow Garden Select adult food now to Sherwood Pet Free Choice blend which has been a blessing my sensitive bun no longer produces an excessive amount of cecotropes they don't get a lot of sweet foods or foods that are known to cause Digestive issues i love Small pet select and also Grandpa's Best Orchard grass Hay and The oat hay from Small Pet Select . I love those 3 brands so much for food bedding hay and anything edible for my buns when did you Switch from Sherwood pet food to Small Pet Select out of curiosity? Ive been eyeing Small Pet Selects premium pellets as well but im so happy whow well all my buns are doing on the Sherwood Pet health Free Choice blend Pellets since my two twin bunnies are a tad under weight i felt that the blend free Choice Pellets would be better then the just Timohaced Free Choice Pellets i feed the blue bag with the Lop Bunny on the Package btw.
Thank you for all the work you do to popularize rabbits' knowledge! In ten minutes or so, this video is a sure bet when in doubt before going out to buy things for the rabbit arriving home for the first time
