They always get so close, get a few answers and then give up. I think while you are getting answers you keep trying. Who was trying to contact you, why were they still there, were they Templars? I think what looked like an upside down cross on the wall is a Templar sign too.
That was such an awesome place and unbelievable what's down there with those pillars, words and symbols that have been etched into that stone and brick for hundreds of years, dont know how you knew it was there, but it's a great find, there's probably so much history been built on top of no one knows about, if it wasn't for yourselves and explorers like you searching and researching places that are long forgotten or even not really known about. I think it would be so interesting if you went back and did more investigating.

From the Goonies, the kid you're on about, he's called Data & I think he's Chinese mate, it's also the same kid who appeared in the 2nd Indiana Jones movie. Also I'm a 90s kid but I love watching the Goonies, despite it being a 80s classic. 😉

Fearless Steve!! Straight in, not bothered. I always thought your dad would be great on an explore. Now you've just got to convince your mum. Without any context on that location, it's hard to say what that place is, or what it was used for. On the face of it, it looks as if it was built to resemble a church inside. Maybe a place of worship when King Henry VIII banned Catholisism. Can't say for sure without context. Also, it would have been great to see an interview with you and your dad, on what he thought of his first explore. Brilliant as always Dan, keep it up.

You guys where in a Templar initiation hall. Definitely Templar . The round main room should have had 8 porticos with the grand master in the middle which makes 9. The number 9 is divine with Templars and Viking . Need anymore information let me know. I have been reading Templars shit for 30 years ago when I first heard of them. The skull and cross bones is Templar and the inspiration for the pirates which were also Templar. They found John the Baptist bones missing the head. But when u open a ossuary box first thing u see is the skull and thigh bones . Hence skull and cross bones.

You should look for holes that lead to the top, I think they used to speak in them for rituals. Like one of the holes will amplify the voice. The end one that has the small pool with the "spout" was used for rituals also. There are probably holes that allow the light from various solstices that illuminate the place or shine light on a certain niche. Cool cool cool

If you prove something there, maybe you would be the reason a place like that becomes protected. Its very Weird the extents people went to to stay Secretive. The thing about it is that Templars never made only one small place. That whole area probably has hidden things. It would take years for a small group. A large group could do it in a short time.

Knights templars in the 13 hundred went underground due to King Philip of France and the Pope wanting the wealth of the templars. The Pope wanted to execute the templars but the the king refused but instead he imprisoned the templers in Newark castle. My husband is a Mason and a knights Templar and he has to just told me this. Nice video but this is just an underground folly .. built by the landowners probably in 19th century.. even historic England have stated it is not built by Templars.

Pending on the where this place is I am a little sceptucal if this is a Templar church. The Templars built grand Cathedrals and churches in England. But, during the 2 to the 5th centuries many underground churches were built in Europe. Also this place 2000 years ago could have been built above ground. Some English churches were built on top of older churches. You can go to the basements of some churches today and still see the old churches that look just like this one.
