I been rabbit hunting since before I can remember. Definitely my favorite way to spend a day in the woods. We usually pressure cook for 15 or 20 minutes then fry as usual. Way more tender

Wow you just brought back so many memories from my childhood that's all we used to do was rabbit hunt and swamp rabbit's are good eating too down here in fl we lot's of them as well as cottontail's but then are very tasty.

Best way to do it is to dry the meat with a paper towel. Once it's dry, roll it in flower. The flower will stick and cover well. Once it's covered in straight flower, dunk it in the egg wash and then the flour/seasoning mixture.

I sure do miss going rabbit hunting. My dad and I used to take the dogs out every weekend during rabbit season.

Man just received my critter glitter yesterday tried it today on some crappie man let me tell you luv it. Believe me I'll be ordering more.

Try putting the meat in the flower first, then egg mixture, then flower again. Helps the breading stick and comes out 👌🏼

We got them swamp rabbits or Jack rabbits in AL and they are little more flavorful but require slow and low cooking. Try it smoked its amazing

My Grandfather bred, raised and trained Beagles for almost 40 years. I was raised around these super wonderful dogs and I also owned 1 of the breeding males and he was named Boomer Boy. I have a picture of me and the dog when I was 1 and a half years old until I was 13 and he passed away from cancer in my arms. Of all the dogs I ever had the Beagle is the best dog.

Definitely hunt the swamp rabbits. Never seen one myself either. I enjoy rabbit hunting so much more since I got my beagle. She's a beagle and Jack Russell she's trained to hunt mice, moles, rabbits, squirrels, coon, and possum. All on command she already knows the sent. I think my next dog will be either all beagle or all basset hound maybe a combination of the two. The jack russell part is just a little bit too fast for running.

Looks like you had a great time. After you brown your rabbit, then take the pieces out and lay them aside. Then make a gravy. Once the gravy is made add the pieces of rabbit back into the gravy and cook low and slow. Fix some creamed potatoes, a vegetable side dish, and homemade biscuits with a glass of Sweet Iced Tea with lemon. Instead of creamed potatoes you probably want rice. Either way, it makes a great meal. The cooking in the gravy low and slow makes the rabbit tend and fall off of the bone delicious. Just think one day that could be you and Ryder hunting rabbits together. God Bless
