Rabbit settling in for an afternoon nap 

Trader Dave! Thank you very much! Buns are so special and kind, and have such glorious personalities! When will you be getting a tiny bunny!? :D

I had a lovely bun many years ago. But as you know buns are a commitment so you need to be in a place where you can care for them and be with them for hopefully many years (at least 10) not something you get just because they are cute. I hope to be in that place soon but unfortunately am not at the moment. So I will have just enjoy Pipkin and his antics until such a time.

We're happy that you had the companionship of a bunny. You're right, they certainly are a big commitment that shouldn't be taken lightly. (We sometimes worry that we're not showing enough of the hard work/care that they require, and people might get the wrong idea.) We will cross our fingers that you're in the new place soon. I only wish I had the informational resources available today as we made so many mistakes taking care of him. He deserved far better than he got and if I had to do it over again I would have changed so much to give him a much better life. We were pretty much flying blind. For example I never knew he needed to eat hay... never knew he needed chew toys... never knew he needed regular brushing and nail clipping... didn't know he could be a free roam bun. Didn't know bunnies even liked bananas or watermelon. He was treated with love and never knew fear, danger or torment but he needed so much more that we didn't know at the time. It is nice seeing buns living the right way and I know now how to take care of one optimally. One thing I do worry a bit about with regards to Pipkin is that he may be eating too much in the way of things like oats and sweets and not enough hay, pellets and dark green veggies and herbs. I would be tempted to spoil my bun rotten as well but too much of the other is not good for them.

OneMorePlease I’ve watched several of your bunny videos and can tell you are an excellent bunny momma Pipkin is well loved and it shows in the way he responds to you. I had lots of house bunnies over the years, they make wonderful pets, they are sensitive little creatures that with proper care can live long healthy happy lives. I’d love to share some of my funny bunny stories with you I had eight bunnies over the years, they are much smarter than they’re given credit for I love your videos, they make me smile and remind me of my sweet little buns 💗🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇💗☺️

I myself am a former infantry sergeant and i feel ya 😂 my gf has a bunny and that animal is really lovely, hes like our baby. I love all the animals, mostly predator species, but any animals pure nature is totally something we humans need to remember that world isnt completely lost

Isn’t that the truth? I am not sure what it is, but something about rabbits is so calming and therapeutic. When my living situation changes in the near future I can’t wait to get one or two rabbits.

Thank you for the reply! Yes, my profile picture is our rabbit named "Kuro"- means "black" in Japanese though she's white😅 We used to have a black rabbit and her name was "Kuro". We named her again "Kuro" because we want remember that black rabbit forever😢😢❤️

so when you get another bunny in the future, you gotta name it "Shiro" to remember this rabbit?

chacky chacky Yes!😍 It certainly is! My rabbit takes naps with me too on occasion but mostly we have snuggle time in my bed before it's time to get up for breakfast. I just love him so!😘💙🐇

He is indeed a wondrous beast, Steph Steph. All he demands in return for his love and affection is unquestioned loyalty, a never-ending hay supply, and fresh fruits and vegetables daily. Also, he gets irritated if you forget to turn on the morning news for him. :D

When you see how intelligent and loving they are... and how close they are to humans... I could never eat one... people don't eat dogs and cats... and rabbits are the third most popular pet... so why would you ever eat one.
