@@OoterOutdoors I find there's a a whole spectrum of responses...from bolt in opposite direction..ignore...to come bounding in...ive not called enough to see patterns bout time of year ..
@@misterlewgee8874 this time of year when chasing mates/mating it’s very much ‘miss’ for me on the whistles. Outside of that it’s sorta 50/50 which for me at night means I rarely bother with the caller depending on the property and shot limitations. If I can wait them out and get closer (or they get closer) I’ll do that. I probably need to work on my calling skills though to be honest. 🤣
@@misterlewgee8874 I have one of those but I find it too much to carry around with all the other gear I’ve got as well. Not enough free hands. lol It’s a first world problem, the struggle is real. 🤣
That must be the worst reticle option on the apex, it really is hard to see, it the color of it as well. Try white at night with a cross hair or even the dot. Pat yourself on the back though your abilities are very noteworthy, brother.
@@BarrieCopeland-je6lh I like the red as it stands out (more so when looking through the scope). I find the dots tend to get lost as they aren’t always big enough. 👍
@@rogerparker9228 Thanks for the feedback. I guess that’s the joy of having an LRF and BC calculator in a rifle scope on an air rifle and being able to use it, coupled with the LRF ranging and updating the aim point multiple times made it more lengthy than normal. That being said I’ll edit harder next time to just include the shot for you. 👍
@@deanpike8376 I’m getting 880 fps with the 26.5 grain Hades. It’s a Dreamline classic so the only real power setting (wheel) i have to play with is set on .25 cal.
@@OoterOutdoors Nice, here in good old Blighty we are restricted sub 12. I've got a Dreamline with Alpex on it, lovely combination to be fair. Stay safe lad, good hunting
