I have fallen in love with this song, I am a Maharashtriyan lady and have learnt Bangla because I love the language. And one day on you tube suddenly I found this song and since then I have listened to this song so many times, sung by different singers.

Around thirty-five years ago, I had listened to this song from Acharya Shantidev Ghosh in Calcutta... Those who were fortunate enough to listen to songs from Rabindranath, wrote that Shantidev would sing like his Gurudeb ....... ( And, yes, please don't confuse people willingly or unwillingly. Bear in mind, Acharya Shantidev Ghosh was a very revered personality).

@@sudishamandalclass6secarol560 The name Gurudev was given to Tagore by Mahatma Gandhi, and in Santiniketan, people around Tagore always addressed him as gurudev. Its only the Bengali community that did not connect personally with Tagore named him Kabiguru. শান্তিনিকেতনে উনি গুরুদেব বলেই পরিচিত ছিলেন সবার কাছে - শান্তিদেব ঘোষের কাছেও।
But I like to imagine it as Tagore's tone as it is so sweet, touching and similar with musical accompaniment, which is rare indeed! But of course, the full credit for the voice should go to no other than Shantidev Ghosh to whom our due respect is not less.

I don't know who has taken the brief for Tagore and uploaded this. This is certainly not by Rabindranath but none other than Shantidev Ghosh. কারা কেন এসব প্রচার করে, আপলোড করে না জেনে শুনে, কে জানে। এটা শান্তিদেব ঘোষের কন্ঠ, আদৌ রবীন্দ্রনাথের নয়। এমনকি, রবীন্দ্রনাথ এ গানটা রেকর্ড করে ছিলেন কি না তাও জানি না।
