Wow, that was some of the best racing I've seen in a while, and a huge grid too! Props to the race officials for keeping it green all the way. Thanks for making this series freely available - I'll definitely be watching more!
Thank you soo much IMSA for uploading these awsome races!! Now if only the Aussie Repco Supercars would stream there stuff free they would pick up more fans. 🍻🇨🇦
@@amish420army it's the one thing I want to know when I click a video like this. even years later it'll be helpful if you don't care about the pre-race talking and pacelap
For those wondering, McElrea Racing have been one of the leading teams in Australian Carrera Cup for a number of years. Both Matt Campbell and Jaxon Evans won their Carrera Cup titles with McElrea before departing for Europe on the Porsche Pyramid. Tom Sargent won the Australian Porsche Sprint Challenge last year (the class below Carrera Cup using previous generation Cup cars). Expect them to become a fixture up the front of the field
Fantastic race. Was supporting Dan Clarke as their livery uses the same colour scheme as my own sim racing team, and he didn't disappoint! Just one thing which has been a thing for a while. The track map graphic at the start seems to show a completely different layout for the last corner than is actually used. If you have the ability to get in touch with whoever handles that then please do!
Tbh I'd love to have the car numbers on the doors as well. I feel it's a bit unnecessarily difficult to identify cars watching this broadcast. May be different trackside but from here it's not ideal IMO.
The car number and class is displayed on the side of the car just behind the door. If you visit the Carrera Cup website and scroll down, you can see the Porsche with the Deluxe livery. The number 37 and Pro class is displayed on the door..
@@imsaofficial If that is the case fair enough, though I still think a door number would be more visible. When watching I tried to look for a side number but couldn't see one.
