I love Ducati but with Bautista and how tiny he is it’s like the bike is driving itself so it seems to be a huge advantage in a championship that is highly regulated

There is no advantage, its Bautista's tyre preservation that takes him way ahead of others, he is a MotoGP pedigree rider and is most experienced. Pedrosa was also smaller and Just like Bautista, he too struggled with corner speed.
