@@ladyarmourlapras Reality is Kelly would always be waiting for Ryan no matter how much time has passed, she'd probably be one of those parents that tell their kid about losing their chance at true love and subtly comparing their spouse their whole lives to an idolized version of their love (I know a couple parents like that), and would leave Ravi eventually. It wasn't ever going to be an if but a when. Ravi was saved a deeper heartbreak in the future by it ending then.

@@ladyarmourlaprasin the finale we can see Ravi getting annoyed at Kelly cause she spends his money a lot, buying designer shoes and because of her not so humble comments. So when he founds out that she ran away with Ry he said” That’s it” instead of being shock with the situation. Which leads me to believe Their engagement was probably going to end soon anyways.
