The USA/CNBC/PEACOCK broadcast was horrible. No side by side, too many commercials, cameras were not on the action. D+

NBC coverage sucks, USA network stuck with a NASCAR race that was red flagged for a wet track, didn’t carry any of the IndyCar race.

Thx for the highlights. Sucked that NBC pushed this event to pay per view while we watched it rain in NH. And then didn't bother to show a replay later.

So glad to see Newgarden spin after getting gifted 2nd place. That 100% should have been a full course caution. To say the car in that position wasn't vulnerable was ridiculous.

Biggest take aways: Ganassi engineering is so good that despite being on the worst tire choice (reds were far superior to blacks all day), having horrible timing with yellows, and needing to make wayyyy more overtakes then Laguna would normally allow, Palou still walked the field. If the back half of the season wasn't so oval-heavy it would be reasonable to assume that he'd lock up the title early again. Romain back to back strong finishes in a backmarker team. For a moment there was that shine of the late 2013 Romain who deceived everyone into thinking he was one of the best. Santino *again* spends an entire day elbows out and getting penalties and *again* turns it into a solid top 10 in the Foyt shitbox. Ericsson better really love the paycheck he's getting from Andretti because it's blatantly obvious that he's never going to win another race baring a 2023 Toronto level of everyone drinking stupid juice. He can still outdrive his own mistakes and capitalize on others, as evidenced by another top 10 when he shouldn't have even finished on the lead lap, but the equipment is not good enough to let him capitalize as much as it was when he was in Ganassi equipment. Newgarden has been DSQ'd, wrecked, or hit something every weekend this season which isn't then Indy 500 and his driving skill has atrophied so bad that even when given a podium finish he snatches defeat from the jaws of recovery. His post-Iowa crash drop off makes Rick Mears' Post-Trenton dropoff seem like just normal aging. But because all Roger cares about is the 500 that team will keep him around for another five years when that seat should probably go to Luundgaard. Rossi is showing his maturity and if this season continues I'd be concerned for O'Ward's seat because he's not improving. Seems like Patricio is only good now whenever he can inherit a win from a Newgarden fuckup. Basically we're moving into the opposite position of where everyone thought those two were last year.

Lundgaard almost had to contact ATC to get permission to land at the track coming off that corkscrew.

Shame nbc did that to the fans. The series is struggling enough to get viewers. I was disappointed to find fox was taking over but maybe it’ll be a good thing. I’ll have to figure a way to watch. Peacock at $6 a month is fine because of other content. But I’ve yet to find a way to watch anything on fox without signing up for an expensive streaming service. Time to look for back ways in.

I find it funny how NBC prefers to show golf and Olympic qualifying (which I bet most people didn't watch or care , while their part USA-channel choose nascar (not blaming the fans of nascar). NBC PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CONTRACTS MATCH THE SCHEDULED OF THE REGULAR LOCAL/REGIONAL SPORTS FIRST.

Great to see Newgarden get what he deserved - nothing. They took a really stupid risk (could've pitted ages before) and IndyCar once again gave the Penske everything on a silver platter... So glad he ended up in the dirt. Also brilliant to see Scott McLaughlin take himself out with his teammate. The one thing we all missed (because the coverage ended immediately as usual...) was a post-race Power interview 🤡
