The best sound I've heard from the short version of this video audi passed under double yellow which is a no go an the corvette went after the audi r8 an passed him on the straightaway and the corvette was gone.
Is the whining from the transmission? I’ve always been curious about that speceific whine pertaining to GT cars and why it is that a lot of them have somewhat of a whine at lower rpms and shifting etc.
You can tell that the engine was just dying to get up in the rpm on those straights. On an oval track this thing would overtake many of the vehicles in front I think, but I'm curious how the porche's specs compare? A small turbo would probably make the engine a little torquier down low but it would need a bypass in order to avoid severely hampering mid rpm and above performance.
A mild cam swap would do wonders for that motor, small turbo i think would kill the already good torque curve of this motor. Too much piping to mess with and more problems. I'm staying mildly supercharged in my C6 Grand Sport with 490.9HP @ the tires (488.9 lb-ft). Really great car!
Yup, passed under a single yellow though, you can see a marshal stand with one waving on the left just before the stand with the double. It was already in front by the time they were alongside the double yellows. Still not allowed.
@@nicksGLI I'm surprised that the next time past the pits the Audi didn't go in for a stop and go penalty. Anyway our driver got mad and lifted his game quite substantially.
3 Yr old comment but idc.😅 You know what I don't think so. The other Z06 that passed him during the start and disappeared was a callaway C6 GT3. This orange Z06 on the other hand looks like a privately built race car, a very well built race car at that.

Et oui maintenant que peugeot a racheter GMC Chrysler on va en voir de plus souvent des ricaines 2035 c est pour bientot autant en profiter tant qu il y a de l essence encore en vente moi perso je serait riche j achèterais une immense citerne ou deux que je remplirait d essence de gasoil que je reviendrait à prix d ors

Disjointed driving, curve taking and lots of lost time waiting for something? Can't blame the road surface for this performance. Just too late to engage the car to the track repeatedly.
