Amazing!! I love both horses, but today SW had her time to shine! This was impressive!! Victor is a great rider, and he's had some amazing mounts these past few years. Way to go!

This was, as they (we) say, a horse race. Lets give SW a little credit, she is a game mare. These two are not separated by much and SW always likes DM. Why is this a conspiracy? Beholder v SW is probably 6 to 4 out of ten. Just racing with two fast mares. Good stuff.
if you run this race ten more times after all the big races to come the Pacific Classic the Breeders Cup Classic and the big race they have coming up in January for the ten million or twelve million I bet she beats Stellar Wind every time and by daylight this was just simply a prep they needed to get some speed out of her since her other races the speed horses fractions were so slow they went 24-25 for the first quarter and 48-49 for the half Richard had to bring her back up to speed that's all Dortmund Melatonin and Chrome will be setting much more faster fractions much more to her liking she's gonna walk by these boys
Gary Stevens is a Hall of Fame jockey, and you people are all crazy to say he should lose the mount. She was coasting and he didn't even really ask her for everything. this is just a prep. Beholder is amazing along with Gary Stevens aboard her!!!

For some reason, not because she lost, this race felt uncomfortable from the start, I didn't like when she took the lead. It was too easy for her to take it like that, Gary should have known and let Stellar Wind take it so he could draft and save energy for the stretch. But either way she still lost and I hope she can bounce back, she is better than this.

Beholder ran a winning race. She just ran into a super nice filly who needed her last and is really talented. No more beating up fields with conditions left for Beholder. She has competition now. Song Bird possibly in the fall and unless they do go in the Pacific Classic she will face Stellar Wind again. Stellar Wind is staying in California. According to the owner.

Said of him by many, Contemporary excellence pales before a legend. Also Secretariat's trainer was quoted as saying of Ruffian, as God is my witness she may be even better than Secretariat! There was only 1 Big Red, only 1 that carries the standard by which ALL other thoroughbreds are judged ~ Man o' War!!!! Secretariat just had a larger, in physical size, heart then most thoroughbreds, as revealed by autopsy & there are at least 2 others much greater than Secretariat - Count Fleet 1943 Triple Crown Champion & Native Dancer!!! Nearly every expert in & of racing puts Man o' War at the very top & 4 very god reason.... He was & will FOREVER be the BEST!!! He was with surety the Mostest Hoss!!!!
I totally agree that Man O' War was the greatest race horse ever! They didn't use starting gates when he ran and lined up behind a rope. The only race he ever lost was when the starter dropped the rope when Man O' War wasn't ready & wasn't facing forward & he still only lost by a nose! Go to Google and look up Top 100 thoroughbred race horses of all time and see who is listed number one! His owner turned down a million dollars for him way back then, and has been said about him, Your eyes will never look to see another like him! MeNe _ oder Beholder konnte einfach nicht mehr und ihr Jockey konnte sie nicht mehr dazu bringen schneller zu laufen(ein guter Jockey merkt das), hingegen Stellawind noch schneller laufen konnte wäre doch nicht sehr klug vom jockey die Chance nicht zu nutzen.

+glyde69 go ahead and jump ship dumbass you think this is her most important race of the year Charlie did this all the time he always conceded the smaller races for the million dollar grade one stakes this is merely a prep race to the bigger races with no pace in the race it was just a blowout work in the Breeders Cup they're will be a ton of speed to run at which will be much better to her advantage now we might get 5/2 odds on her for the Pacific Classic otherwise she would've been possibly 4/5 now it's a much more playable race I can see the morning lines now California Chrome 8/5 BEHOLDER 5/2 and Dortmund 7/2
