may be an unpopular opinion but i prefer the practice races since we hear the banter and convo's between them all instead of just Alex's narration. would love to see more of them all chatting in things like survive the decent. edit. its not an unpopular opinion

_On tonight's FailRace Stream:_ _Laddo meets a rock._ _Alex hates a digger._ _And we go behind the scenes of a FailRace video._ Loved this, totally brilliant to watch! And a behind-the-scenes moment? That was a total surprise. Plenty of enjoyment. I think that rock on the muddy section definintely needs to be renamed as "Laddo's Rock". Look forward to the recorded vid soon.

48:54 till 48:59 was hilarious. Just hearing Impega "uh oh" then seeing their car nudge Amy straight into the digger, with Alex absolutely laughing was so amusing to watch again and again.

I loved hearing everyone joking together and getting the "behind the scenes" view, hopefully we'll get more of these streams.

Really enjoyable stream, thank you Alex and filming crew, hope you guys do more streams like this in the future, not only is it great to hear the banter, it is also a great insight on how things happen and how much work/preparation goes into making a video as good as possible.

I'm guessing that each race the flood episode gets tested for about 50 minutes and about 20 minutes for the actual video recording section

Scientific approach might be time a couple of races to the top without the water, then time / adjust the speed of the flood give or take, then run it?

That second car you drove was twitchy as all get out...lol. Looked like you were fighting it in every corner lol.

Try running the Flood backwards, chase the water to the bottom.

I've been practicing this course, with the flood while also having the Random Parts Failure mod. It's...HILARIOUS literally most of the time. Question: I can't figure out how to SAVE the beginning water level. Is there a way to set that and save it? Seems like 104/5ish puts it low enough that you can get out of the parking lot at the bottom spawn point before it's flooded, but every time I reset it puts it back to like 76 or whatever. Anyway, keep making these...PLEASE they're so so funny. Cheers!

You could do it irl if you used a circular flat track and raised the water level so that the fastest car crosses the finish line just before the water floods the track, or whoever finishes the most laps

I think the only way to do this scientifically is to run it solo again and again until you get the perfect run.

my city is land locked (doesn't have a sea), the ways to get there are: by boat from the bristol channel up to the river severn, via the canal, by car or by train

the flood was definitely better before alex messed with its starting position

The diesel engine is so annoying. I's so much slower than it should be. I have a less powerful diesel in my car and it pulls so much harder than the diesel in BeamNg. In general though this seems to be an issue for all vehicles though. 0-60 is fairly accurate but past that I think wind resistance is tuned too far maybe?

Does BeamNG have any vehicles that are able to drive, and also float and move in water? It would be a cool idea to use all the same type of vehicle fast slow it doesnt matter, but have it to where it can move like a boat and float. This would allow the race to keep going, and make it more challenging, or also allow for different routes, and track length, and route.

The Vette could be slow cause that model also only had 177HP in the V8.

If you wanna make testing easier, do a "dry run" with no water and just the cars racing up the hill. Record everybody's times and find the average. Set the water so it rises in the average amount of time it took you to get to the top, and take away or add depending on how high or low you want the stakes to be.

There is an inline 12 engine that was in a plane can't remember what it was but the engine was out into a custom car and I believe Jeremy Clarkson drove it on top gear

I just did a bit of research and to the limited degree I have looked, the Stingray was never front wheel drive. Am I missing something? I am guessing this Corvette has been substantially modded.
