Yeah I had trouble seeing the different pipes when I did the first track, but instead of pool noodles, what I did was use duct tape and made spiraling stripes on all the pipes.
If I don't enjoy what I am flying, my heart is just not in it. Scrambling in a tiny spot like this, is not enjoyable for me. Tried it a couple times and just can not find the groove for it.
@@somebodyspecific2410 Exactly. All the flying I have done is more or less based on momentum. Slinging the quad and dropping throttle. These tracks are all about fine control. Def a learning process.
I tried every sort of shielding for the lap timer, as you suggested in a previous video, but nothing really works. There seems to be a considerable attenuation of the signal (as you said) but I find it impossible to find the correct distance (or attenuation) where it only picks the time when it should. I was wondering if perhaps the problem was the multipathing (you were outside the first time), but I think I can see a lap timer here as well, does it work as well as outside? Thanks.
i'm able to go barely behind my house without the video cutting out and my fatshark goggles say race in the top left how would i change it to free. i have the rush tank 2
What do you mean they say race in the top left? Are you referring to the "OP model" setting? You can change it to free by going into the vtx menu using stick commands, but I don't think that vtx has that setting. I'd start by making sure your smart audio is working. Make sure when you use stick commands to change a channel the quad actually changes channels. Sometimes if it's not working correctly your osd will say it changed channels but the vtx won't actually change what channel it's transmitting on. Once you've confirmed smart audio is working use your stick commands to confirm the quad is transmitting on the power you expect it to. sounds like you're just flying for fun so you probably just want it at the max, 800mw I believe. Finally if you're using ELRS check your lua script on your radio. When your quad first powers up, the settings in the ELRS lua script will override any vtx settings you changed during the last flight. If none of that works then there's a decent chance you just can't get good reception flying on the other side of your house. I live in an American home with drywall interior and a brick facade, and when my antennas are in good shape I get decent video on the other side of the house. Not great, but flyable.
A lot of tiny whoop racers still fly angle. In the past tiny whoops have not flown well enough to fly acro reliably, so everyone flew angle. Now a days Acro is probably more popular, but there's still plenty of angle mode holdouts.
