I like how when hes at the straights and pushing the car hard you hear a faint whine that sounds similar to the 787b scream Example: 1:55

That's the sound waves from the exhaust bouncing off the track walls and making their way back into the cabin. There's a video of this car at Long Beach where this is a lot more obvious when he goes under the pedestrian bridges.

Same engine, 4-rotor 13J/R26B as in the 787B, but the 787 version had the variable length induction system, I’m not sure if the GTO car had it as well.

What a fucking WEAPON. And how sweet is that rotor, and to top it off, crispy heel toe down changes. GLORIOUS, Rotors stand alone with aural orgasms guaranteed if its a properly built 9000 rpm bridge, pp, turbod, they are just something else. Well sorted car too. Kudos to the builders

What a weapon. Gives me goosebumps, the raw sound of an NA PP with a gorgeous whining dog box (I assumed) cos it sounds like the PPG box in my Series 2 improved production rx7. I wish my engine sounded half as good as this, but we are restricted as to size, decibel level etc. This is glorious.

Don't need to use the clutch in a straight cut gearbox

I found it a bit weird too especially if no need for clutch, no left foot braking at all. Seems to suit him well anyways :)

Probably just a force of habit. He's an endurance racer, to my understanding they usually don't left foot brake because it can hamper gas mileage over a long run.
