Why does Racer shadowban people?

When I see the word "Sustainability" my care meter goes to zero.

Am I the only one that doesn't care about sustainability in auto racing? I care about taking care of the Earth and not trashing it.

The Caddy's might not be the outright fastest, marginally behind the Hondas, but for sure they will wipe the floor with their competitors over the 24h. A proven V8 engine is a reliable starting point for a winning combo. And they proved time after another over the ages...

Meanwhile in Indycar, they are still trying to look for that elusive third manufacturer that wants to be associated with backwardness. I’m surprised Honda hasn’t bolted.

It seems corporate America (and Europe), with the exception of Elon Musk, lacks the courage to push back on the cultural fashion of "sustainability." You can just picture the executive board meeting, everyone sheepishly afraid to offer a contrary voice. Why? Because the PR and legal departments have terrified these corporate captains with the threat of bad optics.
