For me RRE has the best FFB and physics. The way you can feel the suspension compress going into a hair pin and then returning back when you're all straightened up. The braking also, depending on the car you A brake more and quick to slow down, or B lol progressively brake and just make sure to not go over to lock up. It's a shame RRE dosnt have a strong player base here in the US. Even their content is better priced and no subscription.
Was on the fence when I saw the new dlc last night, couldn't find any videos until my man grey bearded gamer came thru once again, I'm sold let's get it
That’s how I started .. RC-Pro AM, Spy Hunter , F-Zero , OutRun , GT 1/2 , Rage Racer , Ridge Racer, Lotus Challenge then years later Forza 6/7, F1 etc… If I could figure out where to put a PC I’d play the other sims
Thanks for another RaceRoom race. Like I said in your last video, I need to check out what newer content this game has. Pretty sure I don't have this track and allot of other items. This track is almost like doing a Monaco Race, twisty turns type of track through allot of buildings. Good tough race. Looks like we need allot of concentration in racing this track. Take care.
Nice race! I have TOTALLY forogtten about this track. It's pretty much a "mini" Monaco Grand Prix tack. If I remember correctly, this particular track is probably, ONLY in less than, about a handful of simracing games. It's DEFINITELY a challenging track for overtakes!
I love raceroom it’s my second most played sim after RF2! Two years ago I was addicted, it had loads of races online, loads of people racing and it had arguably the best AI. Now it feels like they are letting it die slowly and unfortunately graphics, time progression, weather, night time racing are important to the masses and until they update graphics engine and how the game uses modern CPU’s the player count will continue to decline. The latest tyre and physics update made the game even more amazing to drive, but it totally messed up the AI. It’s sad watching this game die slowly as players have migrated to the modern sims.
graphics update coming soontm "no graphic changes in this update. / We will talk about that soon / (it will be worth the wait)" - that's the message in discord from guy who is CEO or whatever to call his position in the Raceroom, George Ortner I don't really know how big it will be, for sure colour balance looks much better and also the lightning, maybe skyboxes - u can clearly see that they were working on it since at least 2022 via leaderboards challenges banners history where u can clearly see that some first work was done back then, then there was some stagnation and then last 12 events means last month banners looks incredible so I guess it isn't coincidence that he said something like that out of nowhere on dc + also some screenshots with car teasers like that new Ferrari - it doesn't look like anything u can get via in-game photos I don't expect 24h cycle because this game has no light sources (means lights don't work) and weather etc but realistic colour balance and better lightning would be enough to bring 2nd life to these graphics, really look at these banners and some teasers it looks beautiful imo the things they need to also finish asap is the black UI for the server list and main menu, that one we have in lobby and settings already which is great btw and then remake huds in new technology + add the accurate ones to the cars released after like idk 2019? or when there was last accurate car hud in this game because they can't make new ones in that old tech that isn't supported anymore which cause many problems - in some cars it doesn't bother me as much but for eg that Ferrari 296 looks terrible with that hud
Got no problems with graphics in general it's the popping in and out of some scenery that stops me playing it, distracting on 65inch triples, if could fix that I'd play it
