Since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza, I often think of Rachel Corrie. Her courage was admirable. Imagine the pain and suffering they’ve been through.

Madame et Monsieur Corrie, mes plus sincères condoléances pour votre petite Rachel. Cette jeune femme plus courageuse que n'importe lequel des soldats armés à qui elle a fait face avec la force de son humanisme. Merci à vous de nous montrer votre présence malgré la peine immense de sa disparition. Elle nous manque aussi. Je n'ai pas eu l'honneur de la connaître mais j'avais suivi ses actions pour témoigner de l'injustice. Depuis le drame, je ne l'ai jamais oubliée. D'ici, des montagnes des Alpes françaises, souvent je pense à elle et je sais qu'il y a actuellement d'autres militants, comme elle, qui se font tirer dessus à balles réelles alors qu'ils ne sont qu'observateurs d'actions injustes et illegales sur des populations innocentes. Soyez fiers de Rachel, nous, nous le sommes de vous aussi. Personne ne l'oublie, elle mondialement connue et reconnue, elle est un bel exemple ! Bien fraternellement, Youcef.

My deepest sympathies to the Corries for their loss and absolute solidarity their unwavering determination to see justice for Rachel. Shame to the corporate media for not giving them the platform to tell their plight in the israeli courts and the insides of the US state department collusion with israeli war crimes.

Thank you for this video. Despite Eygi living in Seattle USA, the local mainstream media, including the Seattle Times, has barely covered her murder. No in-depth interviews with friends or family. No front page photos of her. And there was literally no local coverage during the 20th anniversary of Rachel’s murder. Despicable.
