Check out this audio slideshow of Meguey Baker describing textile conservation work she did on two samplers made by Hatfield girls in the 1800s. The samplers were donated to the Hatfield Historical Museum by Humilia Stefancik Gougeon in 2020. The work was funded by a Museum Conservation grant from the Town of Hatfield's Community Preservation Act, and by the Hatfield Historical Society. Meg is a textile specialist and the collections assistant at the Hatfield Historical Museum.
