Bam's moment with the red hair girl was way emotional in the webtoon than the anime, he was hurt extremely both physically and mentally and you could see the confused, conflicted and fill with despair and sadness emotion in his face unlike in the anime where he stood up(he did not stood up and neither gave the speech in the webtoon) and gave a shonen type mc speech.

The only fact I feel bad about the anime adaptation is that they didn't develop any relationship with Bam and Endrrosi, their interaction was my favorite in season 1

In the web toon “baam” means night and when Rachel is talking to hwa ryun the red haired girl she asked Rachel why she would go so far to climb the tower Rachel says she is afraid of the night/baam it’s probably my favorite line from the end of season one they shouldn’t have cut it 😕😕

I feel like the webtoon did a lot better with this part. In the anime they make Bam into some epic shonen mc, but in the webtoon he's an emotional wreck who can't come to terms with what has happened. They also cut the ring scene which is super important for later on.

The anime was pretty disappointing because of the pacing and all of the things they cut from the webtoon, but overall it was like a 7 for me.

WTH! The way the anime portrayed rachel made her seem all innocent like she was forced to do what she did, when in the comic it was her decision and she was much more of an evil bish. Also in comic it did not show that bam was alive with the scene they added of him and the red head chick. It was way more believable that he died since it was early on in the comic and not clear where headed.

Rachel is a pathetic but complex human being. I hate her weakness and her as a person, but I love her as a character. So THAT's why Akryung disappeared. I wonder why Hwa Ryun is working with Hansung Yu. This was an amazing episode. It clarified so many things. But I've got so many new questions. lol

I like Rachel's character, the normal person with no talent, rejected by the tower but wanting nothing more than to go up. People love Endorsi (me too) but seem to forget how many people she had to kill to get to the head of the table.

Not sure if you could tell but when the door opened she was under bam and that’s why she got in. Bam opened the door and she fell in, that’s why it opened again and took him after that.

I'm really happy you noticed the little details about rachel a lot of reactions haven't. The view from her eyes is not to justify it just to make people understand it from her point of view something that matters a lot. Some things they didn't show in the anime was how she was abused before and while knowing bam in the household she was in so for her to be manipulated from the start she only really had one choice in her mind since she would never want to go back to that hell. Something else they left out was how hurt bam was from being pushed, he was feeling anguish and despair it was really quite sad since everything he knew turned out to be a lie and his whole world literally crashed down around him, im sure he was angry at rachel but more then anything else he was hurt by her actions. The last main thing is that khun in the comic suspects that rachel has killed bam and he has his own reasons for climbing the tower with her now one of them being revenge for her killing his friend

Envy is a very ugly emotion - and Rachel embodies the worst of it! She is a true example of an "emotionally conflicted" character. Judging from the way she was laughing followed immediately by placing her own head in her palms, I'm starting to think that she'll slowly go insane - and that's just sad and scary, man.... :( ....And if Bam ever makes it and returns to the fray, I hope he ends up being a wiser and stronger individual he was before.

Hate they changed the wording in this season compared to the WEBTOON but it’s fine.
