@@factscrub3755 Because we've been convinced by razor manufacturers that having body hair makes us "dirty". And I've been too, I personally do shave. But I don't see any issue with others having a different preference and considering natural body hair to be beautiful. It's not a fact whether shaving or not shaving is attractive or not. It's just based on personal preference.

@@JudyCZ It isnt just the razor companies. Women hold other women accountable in this too. You are misconstruing my thought on this. I am not saying she is not allowed to have that preference. There are others that also advocate for showering once every 2 weeks for 'better skin'. While all that may be speculative and anecdotal, in the broad scheme of acceptance and hygiene, it isnt recommended at a social, personal, and professional level. I dont have an issue that its 'natural'. But propagating anything and everything as empowering just hurts everyone. You wouldnt want your husband to smell like BO bc he naturally has more sebaceous, eccrine, and apocrine glands and inc testosterone secretion right? You would still want him to take that extra step and shower and stay fresh for you.

Her advice is all right on point, and very funny and intimate. Any preteen would be wise to listen to her... but probably won't. :) The armpit hair? I personally find it unattractive and off-putting - it's just the culture I was raised in, the aesthetic of femininity I prefer, plus some personal experience with stinky armpit hair on some women ... but it's Rachel's body and somebody else's photo shoot, and no one asked me. I was just lured here by clickbait on a news outlet... so I'll go away now. (She is very smart and funny, and preteens should listen. But probably won't.)
