@@johnkitching2248 they would get it refunded if they attend the appointment. I would also stop all tax credits and child benefits, because couple can earn £40,000 between them till they paying tax. I would also increase the threshold by £5000 per child to a maximum of two. This would mean no income tax paid on £50,000 of income. This could be interchangeable between two parents. This would encourage the birth rates and perhaps one parent could stay at home to look after the children until they start school. I look forward to hearing your ideas?

People don’t want to work for the NHS because it’s so woke. People are happy to train in the NHS but as soon as they are able with some experience, the brightest and best leave. I know of 7 school / Uni friends who are all qualified Drs. Each of them have not just left the NHS but left medicine entirely and gone into Finance or IT.
