Rachel was doing the show because it was for a Show called Disco mania which was on a few years ago.

After watching this several times, I actually like this version the best, not saying that it is better than Aimee Stewart's, they are different, and both good. Maybe because Rachel's version is Fresh and New. Some people just dont like change, and I am one of them. I have always held a great love for the music of the 70's and 80's, but I have also enjoyed Rachel since the beginning of S Club. She has grown beautifully in singing, dancing, and yes, even in looks.

@dmd856 It's not an issue of when to breathe, but rather that with a headset microphone you can't get your mouth away from the mic when you do breathe, so there is no way to avoid recording your breaths at some point during the song. Add to that the fact that she is dancing, and so working even harder, and her breathing should be even more pronounced.

This was The "Third" Version originally done by Eddie Floyd on Stax Records then Ami Stewart, then Rachel's Version. It was also featured in Easy A when Olive sang it during a Pep Rally.

Pardon me, Iw as just commenting that the song has been featured in so many ways. If you saw the Movie Easy A, with Emma Stone, most of those kids probably didn't know it was a Song that was out before they were born.

@terrycharnley She did. There was an album released in conjunction with this Discomania TV special and it appears on there. You can find the album pretty cheap on ebay.

Am I the only one who notices how incredibly hot she is? I think she looks much better in this video with her hair up than with straight hair; it counteracts her thin eyes somehow. Also, while her voice doesn't compare to the greats, it really isn't all that bad.

And yet another hot number from Rachel Stevens! And no one has heard of her here in the USA or Australia! (my two homes). She's another Kylie Minogue for sure! But what's with her background dancers always wearing hot pants or mini-skirts, and Rachel is always in long pants? Comon, Rachel! Lighten up! skirts and heels, please! (OK, so I'm a dirty old man!)

@jorlando2001 not to say this performance wasn't mimed. but a good performer knows when, and how to breathe when they sing. so you don't notice breath in take... so your judgement call isn't accurate.

They almost always lip sync with headsets because the microphone picks up the singer's breaths between words. If you can't hear the breaths, you know that it's lip synced.
