honestly she has a lot of potential it’s not her fault she’s being straight up in front of a camera and people don’t like it makes no sense I support her.
I don't really see the problem. I mean, Tim Burton changed the story of Disney's Alice in Wonderland??? He turned Alice from a girl who is unsure of herself to a warrior and confident woman.
I think the issue happens just after this clip where she seems to imply that Snow White wanting a partner isn’t valid and she must be a ✨ leader ✨ Which like it’s important to have narratives with women being leaders but acting like it’s this universal thing and a good story can’t revolve around woman who prioritises love (just as many men who do that) feels heavy handed and kind of faux feminist Also just in general her tone comes off as really self congratulatory and I think that annoys people (other than the right wing trolls who are just annoyed because a woman of colour is speaking)
