Rachel Zegler singing Tonight from West Side Story 

She sings it in a way very different than in the film. I assume because it was in a play, so it needed to be more powerful, but her voice is absolutely stunning and her performance in this incredible, in the actual film I think she is one of the most talented people around- beautiful and talented and absolute star!!!

So refreshing to see these roles played by younger folks who actually have talent! Too often Maria is lacking freshness and Tony is eligible for Medicare. I'm looking forward to the film, yes, but this is great stand-alone.

Wow. She won't be referred to as an unknown much longer. She is astoundingly good.

Her last “tooooniiiiIiiGHT!” Inflection is poignant and beautiful. The girl is a star and may very well win an Oscar.

What world is this where we get a movie musical with not only an actor who had the chops to do the material justice ... but what is this? AN ACTUAL LEGIT HEAD VOICE IN A MUSICAL????? WHAT? I have to give props. And she was 16 here. This is not easy music to sing.

Good GOD!! I just started looking into this. My brother was an usher back then, and I could get into the movie theater for FREE. I saw WSS EIGHT times. I can't believe she is SIXTEEN doing this!! If I have to wear a hazmat suit and a snorkel, I will be FRONT ROW when this comes out!! FASTEN THAT SEATBELT, YOUNG LADY. Your life is about to change!!
