A big thank you to Alexey Yemtsov for this brilliant transcription. You can check out his website at yemtsov.com/. I decided to re-record this piece because this transcription was so much more accurate than the other version I found, and I was a bit unsatisfied with my previous performance. This performance is dedicated to my dad, who had a double lung transplant in 2015, and pulmonary embolism in 2019. We've almost lost him twice, but he is the most determined and courageous person I know. He has told me that along with Ravel's "Gaspard de la nuit", this transcription is his favorite piece I play. Love you dad!

Probably my favorite Rach piece, aside of his piano concertos; Volodos is a genius, he grasped the very essence of Rachmaninoff music in my opinion. Thank you for this beautiful performance Josh, and I didn't know this transcription so I guess it's time to get back to it!
