President Biden’s fourth visit to Wisconsin this year centered around his administration's Investing in America agenda and the $3.3 billion Microsoft is pouring into a new data center in Mount Pleasant.
The room Wednesday was filled with union members, Gateway Technical College employees, and Racine County residents to listen to President Biden tout the tech giant’s multi-billion dollar investment in the county.

The negative comments are understandable when they got screwed by that Chinese company; I have more confidence in an American company, Microsoft, and the money for the development is already there. Go Joe Biden and the positive projects that will help Wisconsin!

Actually, it was a rotten deal for Wisconsin. Subdivisions would have brought in more revenue 🙄 Microsoft gets a 42% state and local property tax break and no sales tax..among other tax incentives. Microsoft is well know for tax avoidance and overseas shell accounts. Microsoft has never fulfilled their jobs promise and data centers don’t need much personnel. And WE energy customers have had a 13% rate hikes in the last year for 2 solar farms and wants a over 30% increase in the next 4 years to pay for these projects…..rate payers pay for the insane over 900 watt usage by this plant that we will pay for! In that though….all these so,ar and wind farms in Wisconsin are foreign owned…..thanks Biden for NOT investing in America and wasting trillions 🙄
