I really like the human side you show in your travels. There is the goofy side, with little dance steps, but there is also the "tender" moments, like when Lavi is having a hard time in the rocky climb and nearly breaks down. The feelings you show during the hard moments is often memorable. And, Lavi, don't give up. You're doing better than most people with ten times your experience.
It's hard to Imagine such a Patient and encouraging tutor... until you see it. We all like to encourage Lavi as well, and love to see her progress. but I have to mention the mentor here. It would be near impossible to want to continue without such a great teacher as Ollie! I highly recommend a Holiday in New Zealand... riding the Coromandel peninsula (Chris Birch's back yard) in the summer we are entering, It would be a very welcome change from the trail conditions and weather You have to endure in the UK. the challenge here isn't to stay ON the bike, it's to stay OFF the bike!
Hola L&O, Wow, what a beautifully scenic episode, and what an incredibly smooth one, too... well, except for those 800 bazillion stones, rocks, and boulders you had to bounce over. That was really rough. All I could think was that has got to hurt, all that bouncing and jarring of your bodies. You both handled that well! I hope you are proud of yourselves. Lavi, you are doing so well! You ve not been riding long and look at all you done! Woohoo! Go you! Ollie, you are the perfect partner. Your gentle encouragement is wonderful to see. I'm glad you made it happy and alive! Safe and happy travels, see you in the next one. Lots of love, Sue. ❤❤❤
I've never ridden any trails in the Lake District, but I'm definitely going to have to take a trip up there sometime. Hopefully when the weather is nice. 😅
Bloody hell, was some of that gnarly! But, true to form, the pair of you made it to camp with smiles on your faces... Not long now, and this will be done. After which, India beckons...
Well done both, and particularly Lavi. I know that Coach Road route and that climb is a compete pain in the dry, let alone in the wet. The old railway truck you passed I have used to sit and have a brew and grub, and look at the view, in solitude. Love it!
Lavi you are a super star 🌟 Some really tricky roads and you are conquering them all. We are really enjoying watching you ride the TET, keep up the hard work! You are smashing it, can see your skills growing each episode ❤👍
"Some things in life are bad They can really make you mad Other things just make you swear and curse When you're chewing on life's gristle Don't grumble, give a whistle And this'll help things turn out for the best And Always look on the bright side of life Always look on the light side of life" You two personify these classic lyrics !❤😊
This was one of the best episodes. The scenery was spectacular. It's always a pleasure to see you both progressing and improving together. Keep up the wonderful work.
That was gruelling guys but what a ride, Lavi did amazingly in very difficult conditions👍It was just spectacular secenery at times👌Awesome video guys, loved every minute of that epic👍
Hi lavi and ollie, another entertaining video, some lovely views, well done lavi for not coming off on some hard tracks, I still find it hard to believe you have only just passed your test well done you 👏👍, you are both being recognised in several different places, people will be asking for your autographs soon. Take care from Roy 😊.
lavi, I am so impressed, surprised, in awe. The roads and the hills you take on, and on motorcycles that may not be the best for the TET. With a fairly new driver's license. I almost sh..t myself just watching. You rule - I bow to you. ok, to Ollie too🤣
The views you are capturing are breathtaking. Two things crossed my mind while watching the video. 1.) How many armies crossed the same terrain, for example, the Romans? 2.) The similarity of the Lake District terrain and the USA Eastern Appalachian foothills. I see why the English and Scots adapted so well to the Atlantic side of the American continent. Excellent video. You two are doing great. Keep building those muscles. 💪 Excellent Cool 😎
Rocks! Why did it have to be rocks?! -- Indy Jones Well done!! I will say that pushing all day on challenging off-road trails is exhausting for this old fella. I found that if I pushed for that 'one more off-road leg' at the end of my day, usually turns out to be a complete failure. I always seem to regret not stopping for rest. But, it appears that you don't have a lot of campsite options along those trails.
It was bed time for me work in the morning went to bed late wanted to see it through until the end so its your fault if im late for work 😂 great video as always
Loving your videos guys and doing what your doing on what you have is epic, my only suggestion would be to stand up a lot more whilst riding rough ground also water crossing maybe check depth etc out to be sure 👍
Great show guys what a stunning place the Lake District love riding it in the sun 🤣🤣🤣lavi is really doing well on that bike go girl go a little tip put plastic bags around your feet then put them in your boots they stay nice a dry two Aldi bags 🤣🤣works a treat believe me done it many times 🤣👌
Bet there's an easier bike to ride. I've had plenty of bikes I've been glad not to own, Lavi's done awesome first hard yards and she's improved loads. It was wise to do this before anything but time for a trade in if you can.
All worth it. Lavi is doing great. Much more confidence and machine control. A couple days on an unloaded machine would be good to learn a few more handling skills. Get ready for India. The wildness begins. Beautiful views. You are across (latitude) from Norway now. All good from east Kentucky USA. Next time Be safe where ever you are
Congratulations guys don't rush it take time & enjoy your time out on the trails. Why do you have to do it in the next 48 hours is there something spoiling? My best wishes to you from the Philippines ♥️💪👍😉😀😁🏁🛺🏍️🐑🇵🇭🏴⭐
Awesome as ever. Are you just using the DJI Active track, or a special third party app to follow the bikes with the drone? Whatever you use is working well.
I’ve done the C2C cycle ride Whitehaven to Sunderland (great route) 3-4 times and don’t recall that section, that looks too rough for most pedal cycles
I've enjoyed seeing Lavi progress her riding skills during this series. I do have to say though that stopping right next to the cow until it was intimidated to move, then not stopping whilst the terrified sheep ran down the rocky path, was infuriating. Please stop doing this stuff, if one of those sheep had missed a footing on the rocks and broken it's leg would you still be laughing?
