Did you see Apk racing posted the live stream? I wanted to report it, but there was no option relevant for me since I’m not the content creator. Awesome race! I was busting up and enjoying it. I’m sure it’ll be even better next time. Hopefully they left a few cars still serviceable! 🤣
I’d assume (and hope) the cars stay at the Freedom Factory and this can be an ongoing thing. Just have to LEGO a few cars back together from all the busted ones! 🏁
This is how racing should be, it makes me think about the good days when nascar started before all the rules started. I would rather see cars go slower and less rules.
It's so awesome man. I'd pay good money to watch races like this on a regular basis. Crown Vics are perfect. Cheap, pretty big aftermarket support, tons of spare parts, RWD, V8, capable of taking a few hits... the list goes on. Super fun to watch.
This race is even crazier hearing the engine and tires inside the car and seeing how much they had to constantly adjust steering! The steering wheel shaking as the tires screech. Fun! Best event of the year so far with ease. Loved it guys! Great job driving to all the Colorado boiz. Was bummed to see a lot of issues, but some strong finishes none the less! Stay safe all.
On that last re-start it looked like Taylor backed out a bit thinking LZ was gonna try to spin Cleetus. If they had made contact, Taylor would have won that race.
I drive a retired cruiser for work and I absolutely love it, it gets down when it wants to.... not worth a crap in the snow but I'm a custodian so the hollowed out trunk is super awesome, can fit all my stuff plus some in there
It was such a shit show and just about everything that coulda went wrong did but man some of the best 2 hours of entertainment I've had In a long time good job guys
Who is your Daddy and what does he do? Yeah it was cringe 😬 to see it get all shredded like that just ones day after it got installed and was looking so amazing. But it was and will be bound to happen so we just gotta get used to it. Was a great race to watch during this shietty and uncertain time in the world where everything has seemingly ground to a halt thanks to The Chinese CCP Virus
@@Megaphone77 Re-watched the broadcast a couple of times, 110% sure noone hit him from behind :D *edit, its a nice slowmo at 1:15:40 in the FF500 race, the dude closest to him, even gets forced off the track when Brent goes into the center to park it xD It was a really fun race, **edit**, maybe he was mad over the first time James spun him xD but he also says "took me out" so bit of a mix
As much as i got pissed that ppl kept spinning each other out , this thing was epic !! well worth the $10 and i was on the edge of my chair the whole time !😂 I would definitely pay for this type of content monthly lol. Fasterproms , Cleetus, pfi, boostedboiz keep up the badass content and footage you guys provide us in these tough quarantine times ☝🏽❤️💪🏽
It was a riot watching ya'll. Brent called it early - he said he was bypassing that safety fuel cut thing in the trunk! Emilio buddy you need to be smoother on the throttle in the corners. The on/off upsets suspension and limits traction. Great job everybody I had a blast watching can't imagine *racing* in it!
You can tell Brent was upset they spun him out...lol he was taking everyone to gapplebees for a while the guy from san diego at the beginning also had a good gap on them he also called the fuel pump issue that emilio had hahaha
It's hard to tell who was "too soon junior" if they blew their nos load early they get out the front and open a gap but lose it at the next caution. The guys who saved it till the end like cleetus and adamlz were the smart ones
Yeah all Crown Vic's have an inertia sensor on the left side quarter panel in the trunk you have to push the button to go again and it's more sensitive every time it's been tripped.
Turn off the overdrive so the trans doesn't hunt gears snd remember that vic's have a half second delay for throttle actuation to delivery. So you gas on early because the power takes a moment to come in. Source=evo instructor.
Doesn't that count for the ones that have electronic throttle control? I think they only had those for a couple years at most before going back to the cable controlled throttles.
Definitely turn off overdrive but there best bet is to run it in 2nd gear the whole time to keep it in the power considering they will do 140kmh in 2nd gear at 6000rpm if they have 3.27 rear gears. & right from 2005 to 2011 they all had drive by wire & the delay really isn't that bad at all.
lmao like I said right when they were laying down the grass.. that nice green grass won't last long! This was legendary. Cleetus and co are gonna do so much cool shit with this track moving forward
it was a great race I had to lose 2 hours of pay to catch the pre show but it was worth it. Also so much for them waiting a week before doing burnouts on the pad I bet that crew is a bit pissed right now.
Thanks you guys! Awesome content. It was a great night! Thank you James for working on the cars, and all the guys that worked on the track pouring concrete and doing grass! All the guys that came and drove cars!! Wow, everyone coming together in times like these is so inspiring! Thank you all so much! What a brotherhood to be apart of. You ALL rock!!!
Number one rule in racing, don't dish it out if you can't take it... He got spun out not long after he played dirty going almost off the track to spin out Brent trying to take 1st, changed brents path for the race and set him up for ruining his whole race when he had a serious chance of winning.. No sportsman's would respond like that, (threw his helmet back into the track after storming out of his car that he left partially still on the track, worth mentioning that you HAD to stay in your car until officials came but he obviously couldn't control his man child rage, he got taken away and someone had to move the car of the track for him..) let alone after just ruining 1st places race.. really changed my perception of his character
Joe Lucas Same thing i commented during the race on one of cleetus videos, Bad sportsmanship from james most definitely. Couldn’t take it when same thing happened to him but he was the one to start that whole pit maneuvering thing to take first. dirty.
Everyone who's never done this style racing looks and thinks what's so hard about going fast in a circle with banked curves. Well as you've all just seen and heard it ain't as easy as you think. Especially to be fast while at the same time conserving tires and the car in general with a bunch'a other guys/gals looking to win. Well done Boosted Boyz and PFI what an outstanding group of young men. Brent you may have a little payback to dish out in the next one from the sound of things. Rub'ins racin' as they say but returning a rub can be fun as hell to. That is as long as it's done in good fun and all parties understand that. Thanks for posting this one up Kyle and hell of a job for y'all who broke their circle track cherries in this one...
Kyle, my favorite parts of the videos is at the end when all of y’all get together and just talk. It’s creates a very personal level to you guys, and it’s awesome
@@mikeymasi I'd almost bet both kyle and brent asked if it was ok to edit and post .... and besides I'm sure cleeter would rather boosted boiz and pfi profit from the footage then the people that illegally broadcasted the ppv and posted to fb and youtube
@@JasonJohnson o fer sure there prolly 3 or 4 on RU-vid, and I heard ppl were goin live streaming it on fb 🤷♂️..... I paid my 15 bucks and got an email today sayin I have a 10 day on demand I can replay and watch it again 💪
Doug N Dude If you are witching and moaning about people who coughed up 10 bucks to watch them race live and you didn't go cry yourself a river somewhere else. The race was well worth every penny of that 10 bucks I really don't have to spend but decided that I would skip buying beer this week to watch the race instead
THE FREEDOM FACTORY 500 WAS Epic! Brent I was thinking you may just win it brother... Im interesting to hear what all happened from each of the drivers.. You guys did " Give them hell"
To be honest they’re known for just adding resistance to the fuel pump circuit and melting into submission anyway. The last fleet I worked for just deleted them all 🤷♂️ really annoying device.
I was out working on my car and remembered at the last minute and threw all my tools and stuff inside the garage and slammed the door and ran inside to order the PPV....totally worth it!! Definitely gotta make that an annual event
The boosted crew did great overall !!! Brent had it in the bag for sure. Was so worth the money even with the sound kinda cutting out briefly once in awhile. Can’t wait for the 2nd freedom 500
Brent was clearly upset for being put into the wall. Shows how competitive everyone really is. Dude is the nicest team player there is at the strip but a group competition changes everything. Great bunch of people you have there. Can't wait for the next one. Remember it's all fun and games and when the dust settles, you're with friends who would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. Awesome work; stay safe out there.
First thought that popped into my head when kyle spun into the grass was cleetus yelling "stay off the grass, I spent a shit ton on new sod just yesterday" lol
Hell ya brother, watched it live. There were a few issues with the live stream, but I'm so glad I ordered it. Hell of a job budz. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the race
Love this stuff guys!!!! I DID have a prediction that the drifter guys(namely Taylor/LZ) would hold back and probably have a better idea of how tires wear.... And they did, as they were 2-3.... Cleetus..... well.... the dude can just wheel just about anything in any scenario.... Good stuff!!!! Thanks a ton for the footage!!! Can't wait to see more from the Colorado Bois!!!
Brent led the whole race him and James then they both wrecked and the ol Cletus ended up winning his own race smh it was amazing can't wait for the next 1 but yes was rooting for Brent wish he wouldn't had wrecked smh
@@llamacebu216 Damn i see what they mean when they say cleetus has a cult following. There is always someone right there to defend him lol. Good on you dude I'm sure he's glad ur there for him.
Mate, Brent put in one of the most impressive performances in the race, he possibly had the most lead laps of any racer. Then James totally skunked him. Watched live at 2am in the uk, not as if I’ve got to go to work tomorrow after all.. It was absolutely thrilling guys well done to you!
Ya'll did great out there, Brent and James fighting for the lead for so many laps, and damn Emilio he was in a battle royal the whole race! It was great fun to watch, thanks Cleetus!
Whoever was behind Emilio was giving him the business the whole race. He got more bumpers to the ass than anyone else and kept gathering it up for the most part. Good driving from him.
0:34, love that old school yellow GT Performer freestyle you guys are rocking. Had one of those briefly back in the '90s that got stolen from me. Nicest riding 20" frame I ever owned. I could bunny hop that thing over anything.
Oh Hell Yea!!! DUDES!!!! That was epic!!! What a race, this was more exhilarating than the PROs. And Yes Brent you gotta thing with your first car, you gotta fix it and come back. Drivers always talk about 'That special One Car ' they had back when, you found that in the green fender car!! this was waaaay awesome!!!
That was the coolest shit I've seen in a long time. We used to put a new keg in the kegorator and have demo derby with cheap cars in my front yard but that shit was on another level. Identical cars and a real paved banked track is crazy.. Great to see people actually having fun
A lot of us are not working but unless you haven't bought Tobacco/Beer/Booze/Junk Food/Carry-Out/Weed/sodas/ and other totally no essential stuff your excuse is pretty much moot.
He even had a back up car..... I believe he was even a lap down from win he got spun out in the first 20 laps..... they did not throw out the yellow soon enough..... I'm going to rewatch it to night to find out
I've watched a few videos now and would like to say thanks for including footage of the inertia switch reset, tire change, and the burnout party. I was wondering the whole night why cars would leave the track and come right back on, and love seeing the pov of the burnout bumper car shenanigans.
It was so fun to watch live! It was cool at first but as the race went on you guys just kept going harder and harder and it was so fun to watch! It felt like you could never tell who was going to end up winning
Brent was going to win James got butthurt And Cletus played my boy Emilio dirty 🤦♂️ And shout out to Jamie for putting in work Deff one for the books 💪🏼💯 Stay safe cuzzos
I was stoked to see Brent and James leave nothing on the table. They had a great bout of back and forth until he wrecked. If it's any consolation, you can let him know that James threw his helmet when he got out of the car, and they red flagged it. Thanks for keeping the content coming out while we're stuck at home. I was rooting for all of you, I thought Jamie would have done better with his experience.
30 Years ago we used to run 150 lap "Factory Stock Enduro's" on both dirt & asphalt tracks mostly in south & central California. A few times at Saugus Speedway there were well over 100 cars racing on the paved flat 1/3 mile but 60-70 cars was more typical on most of the 1/4 to 3/8 mile tracks. 7" Wide DOT street tires (usually 235/75/15's) absolutely insured total mayhem. Sometimes the races were 75 laps turning left and 75 laps turning right in an effort to prevent us from using true circle track race suspension setups. There were no yellow flags/lights either just green = go and red = stop where you are. Restarts were standing starts, from exactly where you stopped. Races typically paid $1,000 to win with a few paying up to $5,000.. One of our last cars a '72 455 Skylark lasted a total of 8 days. First my wife drove it in a Saturday night race at Las Vegas and she won. Finally back home in SoCal about sunrise on Sunday I changed the setup from asphalt to dirt, took a shower, and headed on to the annual Sunday afternoon Ventura County Fair Enduro. I won that race too, so the car was 2/2. The following Saturday night the car was absolutely destroyed while I was leading an enduro on the paved & banked 3/8 mile El Cajon Speedway. Only the roll cage, engine, trans, & fuel cell were reusable. I still have that engine but it feeds on 100 octane minimum so it's potential use is indeed limited. Too bad that big 900+CFM Q-Jet won't work on E85. Freedom Factory could replace Disney as the most fun place in Florida, at least for gearheads. Too bad it's sooo far east.
ABSOLUTE-LY LEGE-END. Cleetus with the track, everybody making sure theres some power, RaceQuip making sure you guys and your cars are safe. Straight legend.
