Met a nice guy named Dave at a Bruce concert 10 years back... I remember before the show started he told me Racing in the Street was one of his all time favs... and of course, like magic, the Boss played it that night. The dude had tears in his eyes he was so happy. Wonder where Dave is now...

I can’t imagine Bruce at the Agora. What an amazing place to see shows. I love going there and it would have been amazing.

It was a different location back then. A little smaller. I was at this show, we got right up in front of the stage. Just mesmerizing. Saw so many great concerts there. It burned down in 1984, I think. And moved to it’s current location in 1986.

One of my all-time favourite songs but so desperately sad. This and Thunder Road have an incredible starkness that is up there with Neil Young's Thrasher when it comes to depicting the sadness and perceived loss of a generation It always works best live with the best version (IMHO, Bruce may not agree but I hope he does) being the one on Live 75-85.

Best Version EVER !!!!!!!. To bad bruce is a communist. Oh well as they say don't make artists your heroes. Thanks for one of the great songs written. I wish I could go back to the times this was performed in Cleveland when I was a teenager racing down on Quigley ave chasing girls when times were simpler (I wish the younger people could have experienced it). Love your mothers and fathers respect your elders and be kind to others. Lt. WJB 1st Team - Saddles , Stetsons & Swords ! HOOAH !
