@@jakerose3872 Kunos gets minimal credit for this one. This is purely community modders who have rebuilt AC physics and content almost entirely. I kinda wish the smaller dev companies would join forces to build a real competitor to iRacing but with better pricing structure. I almost pulled the trigger on a full seasons worth of tracks for Advanced Miata, which is awesome, but $180 for 12 tracks is just too much when you've got arguably higher quality content coming out for free on AC
That would be worth following, as driving these cars on a simulator is so much different, you have to be absolutely rapid and understand racing to be able to be that competitive
That turn 4, fast chicane with the wall on the right under the viaduct looks like an absolute deathtrap on the high speed lap. Hope that wont be like that when they are gonna race here IRL
Honestly from the track map, i expected a lot worse. But i am expecting a massive shunt in the fast kink into the tunnel. 2 cars fighting side by side and not wanting to give it up
JARNO! I think your viewership would grow a little bit if you went on camera when narrating your league racing videos. Body language is very important for both entertainer and learning purposes. Please think through this idea!
As someone that works at an arcade with motion rigs that run assetto and is the “sim dude”… I can most accurately describe the ai… it goes as such, they can be brilliantly quick… but absolutely BRAIN DEAD when racing side by side, that’s what I tell guests as a pre race apology
Seems as if the AI thinks the corner/chicane before the first underpass after the 'straight' is a heavy breaking zone when it clearly isn't. AI consistenly breaking heavy with an easy sweep around.
Tip for you jarno, in ac the ai use machine learning to get fast on track so on the first track they are always gonna crash, but as you get farther through the race they become more sensible and you can drive side by side. Over time their lap times become better too but it resets after you quit lol
Wow, the whole flow of this track is actually really good!!! I thought it would be in the middle of the city again, but this scenery, especially with all the elevation changes, is a very pleasant surprise and almost kinda reminds me of Bathurst. If only the barriers in real life weren't so unbelievably ugly because of all the DHL and aramco and what-not ads PLASTERING the entire area.. the track will probably also have these HORRIBLE blue painted run-offs like in Jeddah or Miami and I'm slightly vomiting already
I noticed that your line of sight is often quite high up, which raises two questions for me: 1) Is that comfortable for your neck during long sessions? 2) Why do you prefer such a sitting position?!
My issue will the street course push is they are fun to hot lap but as for passing and competitive racing they don’t allow for a lot of it they become either too technical or too straight forward and then there’s no passing and it’s not fun to watch
0% or 100% aggression doesn't matter. This game has zero Artificial Intelligence. It's Artificial Dumbness. The VRC car itself is very nice though, if you like practicing alone in the track.
