Great review. I see idiots still can't get over the fact that this isn't old Top Gear anymore. Yes it's a shame but this is still a good review nonetheless. I see no point in bashing a good guy and disliking the video just because.

great video. nice production, nice host and a bit of car history wich i always like. just one question, if he arrived just minutes before the prasentation and after 13 hours on the road, how is that the car looks pristine?

Yall need to chill. Sure this segment felt a tad scripted but the presenter did a good job. He felt natural for 90% of the segment.

Usually i just type "rip top gear"... but Is this the new host for top gear? i never bothered watching more than half the first episode on the new series. This guy is great and does not pretend to be Jeremy Clarksson.

Rory Reid does a great job here, the car is outstanding and to give full respect to the amazing Norman Dewis was a special touch. IMO the best new Top Gear item by far.

so scripted...the car was bloody clean from any spots...if he truly came in the last min there would have been some dirt...its obvious tho

coming from a grand tour fan, this is a such a good review! why is it so hard for most people to enjoy multiple shows at once? if its good content and bringing a car enthusiast good information, then there's no need to bash a show just because it doesn't have our favorite presenters presenting it.

I can't imagine how tough this would be in a time without road lights, freeways sitting in a 2 seat, rwd killing machine without comfort. The man was averaging 68mph for christ sake, on shitty roads without esp in complete darkness!

To be honest, I'm not happy with either shows. The Grand Tour is overproduced, and this show doesn't have the original crew.

These videos just aren't authentic. They are filmed beautifully, but still leave you cold. TopGear needs to reinvent themselves

Man, the amount of falseness in this video is beyond belief. First off he's acting as if it's such a difficult thing driving a 21st century luxury GT cruiser for 13 hours through the night. And than when he suddenly shows up at the show just right on time with the car "sparkling clean" after a 13 hour drive through multiple roads and countries...that was it! So much staged lol

Why didn't you take the old road of getting there? With a map instead of GPS. And not use the new roads, just the roads that were there at the time and their modern substitutes for those that are not here anymore. Do some actual racing instead of just highway cruising at 160km/hour (100miles/hour). The guy that does that, I'll give them all my shares, I'll even tell my friends about it personally and that vid would hit 10 million view within a week because everyone would love it. This is just a shit video with lot's of talk and epic music with no achievements to back it up.

i hate that in all of these races, it always comes down to the wire. I'm not saying this particular video is faked, but i don't believe they all are real. That aside: I like this guy. Seems to have a good relationship with the camera, and he keeps his eyes more on the road than most car show people. Filming or not: it's a real world out there, with real other motorists aso. TBH i haven't watched more than two or perhaps three episodes of the new season of TopGear. They sucked so much i gave up. This guy gives me hope there might be someone in the TopGear crew that hires people who can make a car show.
