Motorbike legend, and Dakar Rally 2022 winner, Sam Sunderland cuts short his pre @OfficialDakar Rally preparation for a last minute photoshoot on top of the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa. The GasGas motocycle champion has to ride his bike through desert obstacles and tackle several iconic Dubai locations en route in order to get to the skyscraper on time 🏍 ⏱

Agreed! I think the effect is called the “vertigo effect”, which is done by moving the camera away from the subject as you adjust the FOV.. the camera isn’t really moving backwards here, but it’s slowing down so it still moves away from the rider

The lack of stabilization on the FPV camera is something that really added to the intensity and speed. More videos should be like this one. Killer job all around.

While these videos are not necessary for life to continue, my goodness I am glad these chowders make them and do such a good job really top notch, because now and again me likes to forget struggles, job lists and physical pain even if just for a moment and marvel in the show!
