@vanart RU-vid is consumer-oriented. They want consumers we don't want RU-vid countries like China has banned RU-vid but they are functioning well without RU-vid. Indians are not economically dependent on RU-vid or any significant Western brand. Consumers purchased a product only when it gives them satisfaction. there is no reason for them to be grateful to the creator as they are paying for it. Same here as well we are not using RU-vid for free we are using the data that we have purchased. Plus if you think that using RU-vid you are contributing only to the American economy then you better learn some economics. Indian RU-vid community is large. There are a lot of creators in this ecosystem so through creating content they are earning their income and they are contributing to this country's economy. There is an economics study that suggests that the Indian RU-vid community has contributed 6700 crores to India's GDP.

It was pewdiepie who wrote that racist ass Diss song first. Then his stooges started their own racist campaigns as well. That's why I started supporting tseries. Because it was a symbolic defence of India. I dont give a F about tseries as a channel. I don't even listen to their songs. But I would've done the same thing if it was dhinchak Pooja. He even went down to a level to not just hate tseries, he asked indian guys, paid them good money and told them to write racial slurs for jewish people. When he got hate for that, he deleted that video but ofc it's still available on youtube on other channels now. He was straight out dumb to do all those things for some petty followers count jealousy and his followers terming all this racial abuse as "jokes" is more worrying because STEREOTYPES, RACIAL SLURS AREN'T FUNNY

That's westerners for you. They appear nice in person, but extremely racist online. Not implying that it is impossible to find toxic Indians online but moreso that the attitudes of these Indians are also reflected in reality. Ironically in my experience though, I have experienced racism in person and more frequently online, from every single country in Europe except for UK despite its racist colonial past.

I didn't know who Pewdiepie was at that time. After this fiasco, I started seeing more vile comments about India and Indians in comments then I literally searched to know what was happening and subscribed to T-series out of spite lol. I don't even check comments anymore if the post is about India, especially on Instagram, they are always filled with vicious hate.
