5:21 Roberto Carlos complaining about racism but when Brazil won a World Cup qualifying match he went to Chilavert and said ' we won you indio' and Chilavert spits on him
In american sport events this rarely ever happens, if it happens at all. In Europe, racist behavior is common in football games especially Italy, Spain and so on. Lets be real
At least our black players don’t get racially abused on the field or court and when it does happen it gets handled. Look at the ultras most of them are skinheads who belittle blacks in all Europe. Like stfu
This is mostly prevelent in Italy and Eastern Europe. Eastern European countries and clubs are regularly punished by FIFA for racism related matters and in Italy you'll often see club presidents or even players themselves downplaying or ignoring racist incidents. The player at 2:53 Moise Kean was subjected to racist chants from the ultras and even his own teammate Bonucci said Kean had 50% of the blame for it lol.
evo VIII In What world do you live? ... No it’s not, America is probably the most racist developed western nation on earth, especially considering it’s history with civil rights. Nelson Mandela himself said America was the most racist country after apartheid South Africa. Just look at the racial tension in USA today...
@@AmateurishAstronaut nah Bruh Erourpians are are the ones who Started slavery specially the UK and Spain shipped slaves to America. It may be different now but I still think Europe is more racist because black culture is bigger in America.
6:09 His name is Emmanuel Eboue. He was a phenomonal player. He's peaked at Galatasaray. Most of the teams in Turkey hates Galatasaray because they've been dominating Turkish league for almost like 30 years and they're the only team that won International cups like European Cup and European Super Cup. Because of that hatred they threw bananas and mocked with Gala's black football players. Most of them got arrested but few hooligans still doing that kind of stuff to Gala's players and crew.
It is normal in football that fans of one club hate fans and players of a different club. It doesn't matter if you are black or white, passionate fans hate all about their rival club.
@@sasukebyak Well he's not white either. As a fan of football, I believe that fans of opposing teams will taunt opposing players and clubs. White players get viciously taunted also, but blacks get it worse( racial or racist element). Just for the record, I'm black.
Racism is a nasty thing but I would say that football has helped bring people closer togheter, like boxing in usa back in the day made many people see that colour is just a colour and doesnt change a person, so has football opened the eyes of many people and the love for the sport has helped the problem more than increase it
Mario Balotelli suffered the most from racism the man cried several times from opposite fans calling him with racist slurs. Samuel Eto'o in the other hand is the one who didn't won a golden ball just because of his skin colours. Arabic people too are dealing with this issue. it broke my heart and brings me to tears every time I see it even tho I am too a victim of it, but when I see others under its fire I just can't handle it man. let's just wish this word will change for the better, and let's all do our best for this cause. this word needs love.
I'm late but they always try to stop the player from a fight because the ref can decide if you play the next game or not, if you keep arguing you can get ban
I think that in some cases it is not about race, some times is just the rivalry between the teams and the anger of some of the fans. They insult every member of the rival team, they don't care about your skin color.
some of these clips are not because of racism, some player hated by the opposition's fans and the clip where players reject to handshake its because of personal matter.
2:48 The opposing team fans were doing racist things against him but the referee didn't even care about it so he ended up getting angry and applauded the referee after a small foul and the referee gave him a red card. His name is Kalidou Koulibaly, he is in the top 3 of best defenders in Football
The fans of some teams will use anything to try and upset the opposition, something they know will get a reaction. It's because we make such a big deal over racism that it has this effect and causes more people use it as a method of antagonising the players. Not enough is done in eastern Europe to stop the remarks but they are just words after all, people always deal with bullying no matter who they are
..."As cores do corpo não definem a aura do espírito!"...Ricardo Fischer. ..."The colors of the body do not define the aura of the spirit!"... Ricardo Fischer.
The context of the clip at 5:00 was that the guy in the black tracksuit (Suarez, a known racist scumbag) had called Evra, the guy in red, the 'N' word previously. Suarez received a ban for being racist and the Liverpool fans all rallied around him in support of racism. When they next played, Suarez refused to shake his hand to which Evra grabbed his hand and stared him down. Evra and Manchester United went on to win the game, Evra ran over in front of Suarez and started blatantly cheering to the crowd.
rival fans will do anything to make the other team perform worse and being racist is as low as some of them will get, whatever it takes to win which is fucked up
1:01 That probably isn't because of skin, is just fans angry against the opposite team player, it also happens a lot in South America when one team is losing
To give some context, the general population is not racist on a day to day basis. That said, football matches are an intense environment and opposing players will get cussed often by the home fans who try to affect them. Sometimes they will say racist stuff at the best black players to get them to play badly. Usually the club gets punishment for the fans behavior and the culprits get banned.
i know how angry they are but leaving the pitch is the worst thing u can do, bcz thats what they want they want u off the pitch. stay on the pitch and show them ure better than them.
I’m not defending anything, but half of these videos have nothing to do with racism, fred (man utd), 1 video of sterling’s (city) are because their are from rival teams, the fabricio (international) is because the fans of the team didn't like it
England and France have the most black players in their leagues and even if they are black but English or French born they’ll still receive racism by opposing fans
Most of the times it's not because those fans are real racists or stand behind what they're shouting. It's just to get in to their heads so they won't perform. They know that by saying racist things, those players will lose concentration and get upset etc. I'm not saying that makes it justified, but just saying
People over here have more prejudices because you know Europe has an old culture and traditions that go 1000 of years, but you won’t get shot over here or actively treated racist, it’s more nuanced like subtle racisme
As i am white, i can't say i relate with this, but it's impossible not to get emotional when you see people being judged for something that 1st they can't control, 2nd doesn't change nothing on who they are. I'm from Portugal, even tho there was a clip against a player of the team i support, there's not as much racism here, there are countries in europe much worse. However i think racism in Europe is more on sports and stuff, opponent fans trying to get in the head of some players, and that's dumb. Ofc there's racism out of sport, i'm not saying that. Either way, i'm sorry for everyone who even suffered or will suffer from racism cuz that shit is nastyyyy, and might cause future mental problems. Stay strong, much love
Most clips are from the Italian league. It has such a bad reputation and the officials/owners of the league don’t do shit to sort it out. A lot of Italian football fans are quite racist. However a few clips were opposition fans (like the one at 0:38) where Manchester city fans hurled abuse at Manchester United players. However they do pick on coloured players because it seems easier.
a lot of racism in europe.. especial;ly for football fans cause they get so heated that they revert to racism to bring players down. But if they have a black leading scorer on their team theyll worship that guy... but if the oponents do youll hear a lot of racism. Its gotten better luckily.. fifa took action, i think theres HUGE fines now for the team with racist fans
I mean there is racism everywhere in the world towards different races from each race. It's sad because there is no reason for it. But to your point comparing Europe and US, I think US is more violent when it comes to racism for what I know.
this is not racism. this just football fans in their natural environment. it doesn matter if you are white black brown or green. the only players that are not bullied are the ones playing in my team
whoever made this compilation did not bother to research the cases, at minute 4.42 it happened on my team and nothing racist happened. the player was booed for playing badly, did not like it and made obscene gestures to the fans, I condemn any racist act, but in this case it did not exist. He even apologized to the crowd afterwards.
A lot of these clips are agressive taunting or throwing objects at the players with the intent of unstabilizing them. The english premier league for an instance is very fierce on punishment that is suspicious on racism, very fierce indeed that i am pretty sure none of that league are the example. I would say that Italy and Spain have the worst cases in western europe, but in eastern europe it's where you can find the most recurrent cases.
I honestly don't think there is more racism in Europe than in the US. I just think that it is more shown in Europe, especially in some countries like Turkey and Italy, where the football fans have a reputation of being racist. However, Europe was not build around slavery and already had a bunch of different ethnicities, so the systematical racism built into society is not the same as in the US, where legislation is literally made to lock up people of darker complexion. It's honestly just fucked either way and a serious problem.
