Most of Alberta is empty even now, and back when Europeans first came there were up to 500k natives in all of present day Canada. So even more of it was empty. So if land is not inhabited and not claimed by any country (Canadian natives didn't have countries) then it doesn't belong to anyone. So there's nothing wrong with colonizing it.

Native people are immigrants from Asia and Europe who crossed by land bridge to North America. Also unlike the US, Canadians didn't really have any major conflicts with native people.

We all reside on Indigenous, Aboriginal, or Native American lands. Only those who belong to the Inuit, Métis, or First Nations communities can rightfully claim this land as their own. However, anyone who is a legal resident of Canada can proudly call Canada their homeland, regardless of where they were born or raised.

This is how hate is spread and separation is created amongst all human-kind. The world is a big place and the day that we can all get along and accept our differences and share like "good children of the earth", then life will be good. We all have the same coloured blood...So be kind and treat others as you wish to be treated. A simple motto.
As a Canadian, this conversation was definitely inappropriate. I see a hard working man who does not have to endure harassment. At the same time, this issue extends beyond race because as struggling Canadian, I have also experienced this type of behaviour from them. A behaviour of looking down on you, of making fun of you and excluding or seeing less than. On the other side, I have also been a victim of immigrants who treat me harshly, believing I am the other. SO this has got to stop on both sides. Keep your comments and hands to yourself, focus on hard work and be civilized.

Yes, racist tirades are wrong. But, is it legally right or wrong to publicly post private conversations/videos/pictures, without consent, as long as they are taken in a public place? I'm not arguing either side, I'm asking.
If as an Indian physician at a Calgayr hospital if a patient came to your ER and did that you should be would be like (after ensuring my own safety):"Sir this is inappropriate and offensive" and try to remain professional and cool and try to refocus on care.
