@@maxington26 wow, there's still good people in this world! It's very generous that you guys took it upon yourselves to reply to this poor soul 6 years later, they must've been racking their brain this whole time for an answer 😰 finally someone put him out of his misery! Faith in humanity: restored.
Racism is a reality of life in all nations. People are tribal whether they are Chinese or Indian or African. It is not somehow unique to 'white' people. Jeez !! The only people who feel sad about it in a public domain like this is white people who wish to appear superior to their elders who are portrayed as racist for having to deal with other nations trying to invade us. The only nations that who open their gates to other nations to become citizens are white nations. By that definition it makes white people the least racist (on paper). People appear more racist in Australia cause they are sick of living in a fractured society. People aren't meant to live in disharmony as such.
What's a "duckie" ? And was that person sitting in duckies seat on the train? Hence the bogan was saying "wait until Duckie gets here" or was old mate in the fluro just fully fried from over indulging with the Glass BBQ?
He say, "your wife's a goer, eh? Does she go, eh? I'll bet she does, I'll bet she does, wink wink nudge nudge, know what I mean?" Lol... And now for something completely different
what should i do if i meet or see those racists outside?? :S As an asian girl, I'm always try to be calm and hide myself outside like an invisible man, in this country. Feel so scared and tense up all the time. I know not all the australians are racists though..
Unfortunately babe theres alot of racist idiots here its disgusting, and the people who get it the worst are those who cant speak english or good english and those who are not white, ive never heard of women getting raped or physically abused only ever getting a ear full from little idiots who think its tough, you shouldnt have to feel as though you cant go somewhere or your too scared if i were you i would carry something in your bag at all times like a brick, i know its heavy but if something did happen and you whacked them around the head they would be stupid to go again and get some pepper spray and spray it in there eyes
+ClareT Rhodes thanks for your advice. i had some really bad experiences of racism actually, i may should carry something can protect me really. Thank you again. This is so sad!! :'(
슈 I'm sorry you've to deal with such ignorance. Take comfort in the fact that the racists here are in the vast minority. It just doesn't always seem that way because those who are the most ignorant and racist are generally the loudest in the group. I always defend people who are racially abused when i witness it on trains and buses, but it's very sad that usually people are too frightened to do the same because they dont want the offender to turn their attention onto them.
Your comment comforted me so much. Maybe you couldn't imagine, but i had several times of bad experience, like this video. Now i've been here over 2 years tho. i remember the day when i went out to the Sydney city one day, i was waiting my friend in front of QVB, at the moment, 3 Australians passed me, yelled at me "fucking asian!". Maybe someone can say, it's nothing. But it was quite hurtful to me. I used to live in Germany and never happened this kind of thing before, when i was in there. I hope other Australians thinking in the same way as you. People like you, make me to think again about this country and people in a good way. I like Australia much more than before. :) Thank you again.
