In this video you are saying that there is no auto cut off , but it is not true, all branded products are fitted with auto ON/OFF and auto cut off (double thermostats).
its a thermostat that automatically cuts off when temperate set is reached. you can open the case of geyser and replace the thermostat rod if faulty or you can set the temperature u desire on the rod (there is a plastic regulator screw with temp markings). After desired temperature is reached in geyser tank then the geyser will stop providing electricity to heating element.
