Aloha & Mahalo for another great informative vid Coach AM! That’s wild u still have the stringalings. Michael Chang prolly has Prince prototype string savers if they’re green. Aloha Kenzo, Those String a Lings in the video was actually the Gamma brand string savers but was kind of similar so I thought it served it's purpose. The link to the Perfect Tennis article is listed in my comments section. Happy Stringing!

Aloha Asesor, Although I can’t see why you can’t reuse string savers, in my opinion, it wouldn’t be worth the time to reinstall them. 🤙

funny enough I have a phantom p3P 14x16 with gut/poly on it and it just produce too high of a launch angle even at high tension, string savers should fix it.. the babolat elasctocross are the best stringsavers I tried, but on regular frames I use it does lock the stringbed and reduce snapback.

Aloha, Yes, you'll notice in some of the other videos that I feature that Phantom 93P quite a bit! Just curious, when you mentioned that the string savers SHOULD fix the launch angle on your Phantom 93P, did it actually work?

Is there a way you can verify the pattern that you are recommending for a 16 by 19 pattern. If I got this correct we start at 5 cross, 5 main skipping a string each time to install 5 similar to the Federer pattern. Next string down we fill in on the string that was skipped in the above row again using 5. This weave pattern is repeated for a total of 8 rows? I charted it out and I think I figured it out. Thanks for the interesting video. I'm going to give this a try on my rackets.

Aloha Mark, Yep you got it down correctly. Funny thing . . . after my customer (Volkl owner) watched this video, he requested that I remove his custom string saver pattern and wanted the one demonstrated in this video instead. He mentioned it had more feel!
