As long as there is an audience, small waves, an easily accessible lineup with no duckdiving you will have the hipster. They prefer slow rolling gutless waves lime Noosa, crescent head, the pass at Byron and warm water. Rarely will the hipster be found in cold water waves like west Oz, south Oz, vicco and the south coast of NSW. Here the hipster is like a fish out of water, they become frail and lose all sense of ego and grandeur.
