In the fourth video, we finally delve into 3-D imaging radars starting with reconstruction algorithms for Synthetic Aperture Radars. I start by developing a universal signal model for FMCW, Pulsed and Stepped Frequency radars. This model is then used to develop the Back-Projection, Delay-And-Sum, Time-Domain-Correlation and Matched-Filtering algorithms. They are shown to be mathematically identical in terms of reconstruction. I end with the motivation for developing faster algorithms like Range Migration, omega-K etc. which I will go into in a later video. I will follow up soon with MATLAB, HFSS and Experimental data imaging in another video. Enjoy!

Thank you for the video on imaging. I have a small question: (1) If there is no difference in BP and DAS, then what are the pros and cons of these methods and their applications? (2) How is near-field imaging different from far-field imaging in terms of mathematics and intuition aspects?

BP and DAS are identical. I discuss the pros and cons at the end of the video. In the far-field the spherical wave can be replaced with a plane wave approximation in which case the triple sum directly becomes a 3-D Fourier Transform.
