@@luisdent my impression is that the newest rav does not sound that deep, soft and reach as the old version. its hard to explain it in words, you just have to listen and i am sure its a very personal thing, but some of my listeners also noticed a big difference in the sound and they prefer the old version. new one is more metallic, more sharp, it does not touch my heart that deep anymore... but I would say it just has a different quality and many still love it. I also still consider getting another scale one day ;) but, You asked me, so I share it.

@@radekbekielermusic unfortunately the old one aren't available and I couldn't find a used one. But I got the new kurd model I'll see how it sounds.

Radek Bekieler I feel the same with my Integral. But I think I Will adopt other Rav Drums soon 😉 Fantastic instruments, indeed.

I thought about integral from the very beginning, but decided to get pygmy. Hopefully I will get integral in the future. I think they will like each other with pygmy. :)

sillytubeify hmm deep a bit mysterious sound.. dark and light colours of the sound, cause even though it's a minor scale U can create a very pleasant and relaxing sound universes.. I like the challenge in it with only 6 notes really, cause 3 of them are repeated in octave.. But I would love integral scale too. 😀

that's a good point. and I had wondered why repeat in octave if each one is multi octave already? good information. thanks. I love that you make olive oil. what a connection with nature.

well.. I think that's what makes notes multi octave. they are connected and therefore they resonate with octave and other intervals harmonics.. but I am not sure how it really works.. what made U thinking that I make olive oil? :)

I saw one of you handpan videos with a rav, and so I checked out the videos on you channel for more. I saw the beautiful land you have, and you making olive oil, which we love.

still dont know what are U talking about.. :) I dont make any oil.. I work with sound healing and thai yoga massage.. and I dont own any land.. :)
